9.59am, start the Uber apps. The odometer is 108,941km. I need to complete 7 more trips today to earn extra RM100. I repeat, 'extra' means bonus money from Uber. Dear diary, it's useless to 'meroyan' only blaming others while we can earn a ciput fare.

10.13am, WAI at Jalan Jelatang 23 Taman Megah Ria going to JB Sentral. 11min to pickup and the surge is 1.3x.

10.48am, LYN at the same JB Sentral sending to Jalan Kempas Utama 3/1. No surge.

11.15am, QAY at Jalan Impian Emas 10 sending to Perpustakaan Sutera Mall. He rides this trip for the second time and later I found out that he was fined rm5 on his previous cancellation trip. I told him about it and he seemed surprised.

11.30am, amoi at Jalan Bentara 5 going to Tea Garden near Sutera Mall.

Note. Break and toilet at Shell Tuta (Taman Ungku Tun Aminah).

12.10pm, an Indian girl at Jalan Ronggeng 20 Taman Nesa Skudai sending to Hutan Bandar Taman Seri Orkid to meet her friends. It was light rains. No surge.

12.27pm, ahsoh at Jalan hang Kasturi 6. Google Maps directed me to use shortcut but ended up at the blockage road. Kannina. When arrived at the house, the ahsoh asked me whether I can send the apek going back to Pontian. She told me not to use the apps, "deal tepi mah, biasa drebar mintak rm65." When I checked on the Uber rider apps, the fare is rm49, I requested for the double fare, ie RM100, bcoz surely no rider going back from Pontian (#bijakkanangkel), then she changed her mind and asked me to send the apek to the Shell bus stop opposite of Skudai Parade waiting for the bus going to Pontian. This old man likes to talk too. He is sick now after major cancer operation. "Sekalang manyak sinang pakai gps ho... tapi gua susah mau paham... " the old man started talking. He story-mory about his previous three times accidents while driving his Kancil at Pontian town. He blamed the accidents due to the manual transmission. "Wah manyak susah itu gear manual lah uncle, mau tukar gear juga susah, dan takde pikap," he complained to me. Now he dont want to drive car anymore. See my dear diary, this uncle dont know how to use the latest gps gadget and also dont know how to drive manual car. I feel so pity for him. Last time he was a fisherman. "Saya penah kene tahan navy Indon, tapi kasik lepas sbb kasi wang sikit," he said. The surge for trip was 1.6x, but due to the panic just now, I didn't cancel or start the trip. Later when almost arrived at the Shell bus stop, I reckoned the apps still active and I cancelled it and asked the apek to pay rm15 only.

12.57pm, MAI at Jalan Inang 4, Taman Nesa going to KPJ Johor Specialist. Surge is 1.3x.

1.24pm, the last trip to get RM100 from Uber, NZR with her 3 little khalifas at Taman Imigresen Blok Teratai. She wanted to go to CIQ but first stop at Jalan Drapper to drop off the kids. The surge is 1.3x.

So dear diary, today I completed the Quest from Uber and I will get extra bonus money.

Start Uber apps after sending my daughter home, at 5.44pm. The odo = 109,081km.
Fillup ron95 at Petron for RM39.

6.05pm, 10min to pick up MOH's wife at a kilang, Jalan Bayu 4. Sending the minachi to nearby Jalan Keruing Taman Rinting 4.

6.21pm, 8min to pick up AMN's gf and her small brother at McD Seri Alam. Send them to nearby Jalan Beringin Taman Rinting.

6.41pm, IZT at Kipmart Masai with his mom and some groceries. I told them to put the wet groceries on the rubber pan. I send them to rumah murah Jalan Tembikai 28 Taman Kota Masai.

7.25pm, break at Petronas Jalan kota Masai to pee and pray. Then stopped at mamak restaurant for dinner, nasi goreng kampong.

While waiting for the last job, I got ping from PRATIWI at flat Taman Cendana. But when arrived and calling twice but no answer, so I cancelled. Pandanela lah. Then, I switched off the Uber apps and go straight home sweet home.

3.18pm, Rodney and his bf at Holiday Plaza under the light rains and didnt want to come out to the roadside. Aiyah, just like a goat! After screaming, barking and yelling thru the handphones, finally they got into my cab. I sent them to Hotel Shiki Taman Setia Indah. After dropping them off, I went straight home bcoz promised already to my wife to pick her up to go shopping at 4pm. Then suddenly at Petronas Megah Ria, I heard a very loud ringtone on my backseat and it was Rodney's. Aiyah! So I returned back the handphone to him. Although I charged him RM15 for the gas as he insisted on me but he looks happy.

5.14pm, HARP singh at Galleria Kotaraya going to very far far far away Nusajaya. We talked and talked as I reckon that his left hand was injured. "Jatuh motor lah uncle," he said, "now is okay, I went to sensei Apek Patah Tulang at Taman Ungku Mohsin for treatment better than go the hospital!" "Only RM70 mah," he smiled. He told me that he is working in Singapore now, got 2 big superbikes, one is BMW (the one which he got accident) and the other one I dont ring the bell. After dropping off him, I straight driving home as my wife already pot pet pot pet calling and asking when to go shopping. Aiyah! Later, I found out that the surge rate was not included in this trip fare. Kannina Uber. So I wrote Uber a complain and see how their reply and later I will update here if I m not busy lah.

Today I completed 21 trips in 9 hr 23min. For the Quest challenge, I still need 7 more trips to do until tomorrow, so that I can get extra rm100.

6.58am, SGK, Larkin Sentral going to Jalan Bujur, Taman Abiad. A local Indian big guy just arrived by bus from KL. He complained about the Transnasional bus who broke down since 9.30pm last night. The single dad also talked a bit about his career and his life. "Uncle, remarry? nowadays it's hard to find a true wife - all of them dont want to take care my son.." he grumbled. Surge is 2.0x

7.15am, THM at Plaza Mentari sending to JB Sentral. Surge is 1.8x

7.28am, FTN a nurse at Hospital Sultanah Aminah sending to Aloha Towers. Surge is 1.4x

8.11am, JMY at Indah Samudra. 3 guys sending to Country Garden Danga Bay. Surge is 1.3x

8.26am, DNA at Tropez Iskandar Skudai going to far far away Jalan Gita Nusajaya. Surge is 1.3x

8.55am, got ping from TMS while still on trip for DNA. He got upset for almost half an hour of waiting but didn't want to cancel the job. So was I. Aha. I send him to Senai airport.

Break at Petronas Senai Airport. Fillup ron95 for RM35.

9.34am, surprise surprise! When FZR, my ex officemate, request the ping. I didnt know until I pick him up. We talked and talked all the way to his company's condo at Nusa Sentral Gelang Patah. He is working at Keppel Shipyard Singapore.

10.30am, trip no. 9, BNX at Jalan Nusaria to Taman Nusa Perintis. He used the promo code and supposed to pay me 21 sen. Later I told him no need to pay.

10.56am, RMZ a Pakistani at the nearby bus stop going to Lebuh Medini Utara near Legoland.

11.13am, LLT a local Indian lady at Nusa Perdana Homestay going to Terminal Bas Gelang Patah. She complained the Uber gps pin is wrongly placed at Terminal Bas Ulu Choh. Surge is 1.2x

Summary. Today I completed 27 trips. 3 airport jobs in 12 hr. 2min. I think I m going to take a Quest challenge to complete 40 trips until Thursday.

Today, I got mostly long distance trips. I like it!

6.03am, ping from VYY at Oriental Hotel infront of Masai post office. A young Vietnamese couple going to work at ASM Jalan Keluli 3 Pasir Gudang. The amoy spoke very good Malay but sounded like local amoy loh. After paying the fare, I said "cảm ơn bạn." I saw the amoy face very surprised,"wahhh, pandainyer!"

6.27am, got ping from TIC from far far away Taman Molek. Aiyah! 18 min to pickup, the surge rate is 1.5x! Stopping by the roadside, I cancelled the trip. Then he ping again and again, and the surge rate becomes 1.8x! I ignore it. Dear diary, to pick up 15km in 18 min is quite far, unless Uber willing to pay the driver RM15. I dont want to do welfare this morning.

6.33am, MLD from Taman Pasir Putih. 9 min to pickup. Romatically leaving his sexy girlfriend with short pant and no bra at the terrace house. The turkish guy asked, "why uncle so early this morning?" I sent him to Kimak Apartment Taman Tampoi Indah.

7.26am, breakfast at Hamed Corner near Kipmart Tampoi.
7.58am, fillup ron95 at Petronas Jln Skudai for RM30.01.

8.00am, 12min to pickup KKH at Taman Jaya Skudai. I sent him to Jalan Ayer Hitam, Kulai. Surge 1.3x.

8.27am, 8 min to pickup 錒  (Ah) at Jalan Siantan 7 Inderaputra going to Medini Mall Legoland.

9.03am, 12min to pickup far far away a Chinese couple, 魏魏 (Wei Wei) at Jalan Indah 9/1 going to Larkin Sentral. The young man spoke not good English but can speak sikit-sikit Malay. When asked where are they going, they seems blurred. But the amoy showed him her smartphone, and he said, "Malakka?" Later, he asked me what gps I used, then I told him that I used Google Maps. "Sure no Google in China meh?" I looked at him with a pity. Surge is 1.7x.

9.34am, ELF at Scott Tower going to JB CIQ.  This young Malay Singaporean with both his ears and nose pierced likes to talk too. He is working in Singapore as chef but rather commuting to JB everyday.  "Semalam (hariraya) pun saya kerja lah uncle, balik pagi kol 2am!" When asked why not renting the house in Singapore rather than in here. "You see, uncle. To rent the house in Singapore is very mahal lah uncle. SGD600 for 1 small room, tak boleh masak, no cuci baju, very very strict lorr. Bcoz I m living with the owner!" He said again, "for the same amount of money, which is about RM1500, saya boleh sewa satu kondo kat sini (JB)!" He laughed and laughed. Lajiao lah. "But you are wasting your time on travelling," I told him. He said he really wanted to be a "dive welder" in oil & gas company. "But the training fee of SGD7000 is expensive lah uncle, Abah saya buat bisness kecil2an and cannot afford it." I dropped him at the CIQ after a long detour due to the nearby construction.

10.10am. Take a break at Petronas Bukit Chagar.

10.23am, 8 min to pickup LYN at Jalan Merah Taman Pelangi going to nearby LC Catering. She rather to be dropped off by the roadside, "No need to go in lah uncle," the auntie told me. But the area was congested with people rakyat jelita parking their cars by the roadside because I think there is an open raya house at the Istana. Free makan mah!

10.32am, 12min to pickup John, an Australian man, at Moonlight Cake House Permas Jaya. I sent him to his nearby condo Mon Glory. He wondered, "are all your friends drivers are on vacation today? So hard to get a driver mate." Surge is 2.6x but the fare is only RM5 bcoz just a short distance.

After dropping off John, I switched off the Uber apps and drove straight going home. Later noon, as I promised to my Queen to visit my brother's house at Mersing for family raya gathering.

Summary. Today I managed to complete 8 trips with 3hr 54min total.

I DRIVE UBER JB TODAY

Saturday, 24 June 2017.

After 7 months not driving Uber & Grab, today I initiate myself to drive Uber in JB. But when I checked, my Uber apps needed to be upgraded.

•  full tank to Proton Saga 1.5 FLX - done
• car wash - done
• latest Uber Partner apps upgraded using McD wifi - done

Today my first trip started at 10.03am to pickup a Vietnamese guy from Stadium Pasir Gudang. 11 minutes to pick him up from McD Seri Alam and later send him to far far away at M-Condominium, Larkin Perdana.

Trip no. 7, Ngoc, a Vietnamese young man waiting at Tesco Bukit Indah entrance with all his groceries without proper plastic bags. Yep, today is Saturday. He threw all his groceries into my car boot (trunk) and can smell the stinking fish water etc. Actually I forgot to put a plastic pad on the boot for the wet-market and groceries things. I sent him to Jalan Rawa 5. The surge is 2.1x. Good lah. Cảm ơn bạn.

I ended the jobs today at 4.33 as my wife keep calling and asking me to fetch her and go to Tesco to buy ketupat plastic wrapper. Esok sudah hari raya mahh! Aiyah.

Summary. Today I managed to complete 13 trips with 5hrs 38min total. 1 mediocre Senai airport trip only.

I ALMOST LOST MY GRABHITCH MONEY

It's been more than 6 months since I drove Grabcar and Uber. Not because I dont want driving the e-hailing taxis for money, even for partime job, but I dont think its worth it for now. Furthermore, I cannot drive Grabcar anymore because I was banned permanently. Fookyew lah Grab.

Then, I tried to ignore Grab text messages for the last few weeks on my iphone to transfer my money inside the wallet for Grabhitch jobs. Yesterday, while I was inside Aeon Permas Jaya, I got the last  last reminder from Grab to transfer the money or it will be gone forever. Aiyah. So I checked it out and found out that there is still RM386! Wahlaweh. It's quite a big sum of money too. So, I quickly checked my Grabhitch wallet and without hesitation I transferred it all to my bank account lah. Voilla!

UPdated. Alhamdulillah, today, 16 June 2017, the money already bank-in to my account. No more Grabhitch after this!
