5.24pm, 10min 1.8km to pickup SFA at Todays Market going to Bus Terminal Masai.

5.42pm, 5min 900m to pickup 4 Vietnamese ahmoys at Kipmart sending to Permas 7 (Block Q). TYN put a wrong location on the first Kipmart entrance. At first I wanted just to wait for 5min, I felt pity for her, so I called her, and she spoke very good Malay and said on the other fruit entrance. They just bought a lot of wet groceries inside the plastics bags and later throw them on the car boot. Later, TYN who sat next to me asked to wind down the window - I guess due to the fishy fishy smell from the boot. Note: I put on deodorant before starting the Uber apps okay! Actually I dont mind, so I wound down my window also. At the dropoff, she was surprised and shocked bcoz the fare was rm5 higher than on her handphone. When I checked, she got balance due from the previous rider. But she said angrily, "no lah uncle, drebar tu yang kensel." Aiyah. But they paid the full amount.

Break at Shell Permas Jaya. Fillup the ron95 for rm30 (13.67liter). 6.20pm already.

6.25pm, 8km 3.1km to pickup RFI at Jalan Mersawa. 4 Indon young men going to Kampung Pasir Gudang Baru. Again, they brought some fish rods and caught fish but bundle them inside a plastic bag too.

6.40pm, nearby Sidik at Jalan Platinum Utama sending to Bus Terminal Masai. This Lombok man likes to talk too. He was surprised that I was arrived earlier than he thought, ie less than 3 minutes. Normally other drivers would take 10-12 minutes to reach his premise. So he just lucky, I told him.

7.01pm, nearby Muhammad at the Bus Terminal Masai. However, when arrived, I called him and we shouted to each other. I dont understand what the Bangla said and not sure where he was waiting at. So after 5min lapse, he cancelled and I got rm5 fare. Good lah.

7.10pm, MBB at Jalan Bayu 8. 2 Banglas with a pack or rice going to nearby Shell station at Jalan Masai Lama.

Near missed when I tried to drive and enter to other lane on the sharp corner which was dark. Pheww. Manage to stop at Petronas gas station to pee and pray.

7.36pm, 8min 4.7km to pickup a local Chinese couple at Jalan Jelatan 35 sending to CIQ. Now I know why so many people wanting to stop at the flyover near the CIQ instead going to the CIQ bus stop down there or JB Sentral on the side of the building.

Set to HOME.

8.25pm, JAM ping me from Cold Storage Plaza Pelangi, but he put the pin at the wrong location. I waited 5min then I cancelled. The second time he ping, I called him, but when driving to him, I reckon it's not worth it to pick him up. Later I cancelled with remark - 'dont charge to rider."

8.56pm, JET a young man at Holiday Villa hotel open the back door to his ahmoy. Before reaching her house, she wanted to stop at the nearby convenience store to buy chewing gum. Later she asked me, "uncle, just now when pickup me at the hotel, do you smell alcohol?" Aiyah, I said to her, no alcohol smell, only your perfume smell. She said, "thank you uncle." I think this ahmoy is still under age school girl who got drunk with her boyfriend at the hotel. Hush hush you uncle.

No ping until I reached my HOME sweet HOME.

6.07am, 11km 4.5km RDY at Jalan Bayan 31/2 Taman Megah Ria. I reckon this is my second time picking them up. 4 pax to their factory at Jalan Tembaga 2.

6.34am, 13min 8km SIC at Jalan Balau 15 sending to Jalan Bukit 3. At dropoff, the fare was rm5.76 but I asked to pay only rm5, but he insisted to pay rm6. Okay lah.

6.57am, 13min 5.7km NFH at Flat Tasek 64. When I arrived, I waited 5min, then I cancelled with reason 'no rider show'. But minutes later she called me twice which I ignored. Very bad of me. Actually my dear diary, she sent me text already to pickup at Blok K, but I didnt aware bcoz on the other handphone which was on silent mode. Bad, bad of me.

7.16am, 8min 4.4km to pickup FEQ at IPD Seri Alam. Ironically I sent her to the same spot Flat Tasek 64 I waited for NFH just now. Bad, bad, and I feel bad of me. Let's move on.

7.55am, MLA and her little boy at Restoran Habib going to Taman Cahaya Masai.

Break at Petronas Cahaya Masai and decided to go home since wife already calling calling to send her to Jakel JB. Aiyah.

2.50pm, 9min 4.5km to pickup an old apek at Jalan Bayan 65 sending to Plaza Sentosa JB. A 74 year old man who has lame leg and he likes to talk too. He said his knee got problem, due to no more lubricant already. He is not prepared to get operatoin on his knees.

4.43pm, Ann at CIQ called and later cancelled bcoz she couldnt wait for 8 minutes.

Trip no. 7.
4.50pm, 4min 1.7km to pickup MOD in the middle of the busy Lingkaran Dalam highway. Sending him to Restoran Yasin.

Break at Masjid Kolam Ayer. Pee and pray.

Trip no. 8 to 12.
5.18pm, MOL and his wife and his boy at Larkin Sentral. When hopped in the cab, they complained about teksi in the stand not wanting to use meter. The teksi drivers also asking for rm30 for the distance that Uber fare is only rm10 for 10km. "If they asked me rm20 also no problem, but rm30 is too much," the wife said. I sent them to Taman Munsyi Abdullah. "Now they complain that nobody want to ride with them (the teksi)," MOL said again, " and they just blamed it on Uber!" Why not blame it on JDT - I said inside my heart only lah. The boy was also talkative, spoke in Malay and sometimes English. Once MOL while talking to me, the boy talking too. "Next time please dont talk while people are talking okay boy?" scold MOL. "Okay now, what you want to say?" asked the father in minutes later. And the boy was sulking and said doesnt want to talk anymore!
When arrived, the fare was rm13.87, but I asked to pay only rm13. "Takpe, you take twenty, give me the balance thirty," MOL said while handing me the rm50 note. You see dear diary, the guy living in the low cost house with a white BMW on his porch reminds me of the Altimet song of "Amboi".

5.43pm, MUJ and his bf, 2 pax of Indon men at Jalan Dian 7 going to Jalan Cempedak Kampung Pasir. We talk and talk while on the trip. "It's so expensive to go balik kampung during raya lah wak," the other pak indon who is sitting next to me said, "seribu ringgit satu penerbangan dari Senai airport. Kalau naik pesawat dari Batam agak murah dalam rm600, tapi leceh mau amek masa ke sana naik feri lagi."

6.03pm, a nearby FEE at Jalan Titiwangsa 3/3 near Kipmart Tampoi. This good looking Malay young lady is polite and likes to talk too. She asked me, "how long have you driving uber, uncle?" She works as an Interior Designer. Her dad just passed away due to colon cancer and used to work at the same office as me now. They used to stay at Taman Rinting but many bad tragedies happening there, ie domestic violence and thieves and mugs. I send her to Jalan Austin Perdana 2/13. She didnt have the small change and wanted to get it from her mom inside the house, but I said "no worries," and let her go with less rm1.66 fare while smiling at her. And she smile back at me. Hehe2.

6.31pm, DHR at McD Smart next to abandoned Carrefour send the local Indian girl back home at Jalan Austin Perdana 5/9.

6.56pm, YON at Jalan Setia 10/3 sending to Jalan Austin Heights but stopped at Jalan Setia 9/5 first.

8.01pm, a local Indian guy, THR and his bf at Jalan Sagu 2 sending to Jalang Pinang 13, but stopped at Jalan Saga 15.

8.13pm, while on previous trip, a local Chinese boy at nearby Jalan Pinang 15 going to McD Austin Heights.

8.26pm, LEZ an Iranian at Water Theme park with his Pinoy girl sending near to Sedap Corner JB.

I set destination to HOME.

9.15pm, FRD a local chinese lady at Plaza Pelangi going home at Jalan Bersatu Taman Serene. She got free ride.

No ping until HOME. Okay lah.

6.39pm, 11min 3.6km to pickup MUZ at Jalan Serangkai 1 Taman Bukit Dahlia shoplots. I send her to her nearby low cost house Jalan Meranti.

6.57pm, pundenale SAS at 94 Jalan Masai Lama Taman Bunga Raya ping me twice and cancelled. The surge was 1.6x.

7.05pm, 4min 1.0km FTM at busstop infront of Maybank Masai. 2 pax of young Malay girls going to Kompleks pusat bandar Pasir Gudang. The freehair girl sounds rude when they asked me to drop by the roadside bcoz there is an exit to the parking only.

Break at Petronas Pasir Gudang. Pee and pray.

7.30pm, 7min 3.1km to pickup RXN and 3 pax of young pinoy executives at Jalan Perak 3 and send them to far far away KSL hotel JB in 30min.

Lunch at LC Catering. Nasi ayam penyet for rm9.85. Plain water.

8.29pm, 7min 2.1km to pickup ADA a chubby Malay girl at Giant Hypermarket Southern City Taman Suria. I send her to nearby 1.7km only flat Jalan Seri Setanggi. Free ride.

DELIVERY BOY DILEMMA

Tuesday, 24 October 2017.
Not doing Uber today since I am working in the office.

But this morning around 9.00am, I saw a request inside the FB group where a lady was looking for a runner to deliver lunch box to nearby 4 taman destinations. Urgently, she wrote on the status. So I volunteered but with a quotation of rm1 per km. The destinations are: Taman Rinting, Taman Scientex, Taman Cendana and Tanjung Puteri Resort. After rough calculations using Google Maps, I was getting 24.5km and asked the lady of rm50. After a while, she agreed with the price. When I told her that I am ready to pickup the lunch boxes at 10.00am, she said she's not ready yet since she needed to pack them up. Due to various locations with extra contingency, I dont want to be late because she said the lunch boxes shall be delivered before 12noon!

Then later, she said I need to pick the 10 lunch boxes up at 11am. I said okay. But she told me only one destination, ie Palmtop Vegeoil Products factory at Jalan Gangsa, and it's only 4.5km away. I dont mind, but the charge on my mind is still rm50!

5min before 11am I was arrived at her house after mistaken for other neighbor house. When she saw me, she said, "macam kenal," which I doubted it. Then after negotiate again on the delivery charge (rm20) and the money (rm43) which I shall take from the other customer, we agreed to each other. I was reluctant to pay her the balance of rm23 first because this is my first job with her. I rather later take the customer money and return back to her house by paying her.

After delivering the lunch boxes to the office girl at factory, I wassap the lady telling her that I wanted to wash my car. But she insisted to pay her the balance since she wanted to go out soon. I said, okay lah.

18 TRIPS TO COMPLETE QUEST OF EXTRA RM35

Yesterday I reckoned that Uber offer the drivers if they can complete 18 trips, we can earn extra rm35. So yesterday, I completed 14 trips since in the morning. Since I retired early yesterday evening, so today I just wanted to complete it, ie 4 more trips to go.

Trip no. 1.
3.03pm, 4min 800m to pickup SARA at Flat Taman Mulia Jaya Ampang. At first I thought the rider was a girl. But when I called, and later inside the cab, I realised his name is Saravanan. Lol. He works in restoran kedai makan and today his last off day to celebrate deepavali. I send him to Giant spectrum.

Trip no. 2.
3.22pm, 4min 700m to pickup FID a young man at LRT Ampang. This chubby man likes to talk too. He works as an offshore technician and now planting 'anggur' you know. "Oil and gas now no good la uncle," he said, "I used to work rotatingly but full 3 months on the offshore platform and the salary is not as much as you think." I send him to TBun Ampang Putra.

Trip no. 3.
3.53pm, 6min 1.2km to pickup ARI an Arab lady at Jalan Mengkuang Desa Pahlawan on Embassy Row. I send the lady to Binjai Soho.

Then I set the next and final destination to my house in Bukit Belacan.

Trip no. 4.
4.25pm, 3min 60mm on the opposite side of KLCC, ie Avenue K. CHA at first I thought a meksalleh, but when I called the sexy amoi with short pant talk fluent Malay, "saya kat lobby lah uncle." Inside the cab we dont talk much. I send her to Ampang BOulevard, which is on the direction to my home.

So today I completed 4 trips and got extra rm35 on Quest. Okay lah.

UBER KL THIS WEEKEND

Actually I wanted to start doing Uber in KL early in the morning, after fajar prayer. It's been almost one year since I dont drive Uber here. But when I started the apps, it asked to update my latest insurance cover note because it was expired already. So I updated it, and I thought it would take a couple of days for Uber staff to look into it and approve it. However, 10 minutes after, I check again, and voila, I can start the Uber apps in KL today immediately.

6.59am, 6min 1.3km to pickup FRR at Klinik Dr Burhanudin. 2 pax sending to Mcd Ampang Point. The surge was 1.3x.

7.22am, 4min 500m to pickup PAT at Jalan Ampang Hilir sending to far far away Stadium MPSJ.

8.03am, 10min 3.4km to pickup HIE at Jalan USJ 18/4 but when arrived no rider show. So I called and it seems the location is wrong, then I cancelled.

8.21am, 7min 1.7km to pickup FAR at Apartment Sri Tanjung USJ 16 sending the young Malay girl to nearby LRT USJ 21 station.

8.58am, 3min 500m to pickup LIM at Jalan USJ 20/1F sending to nearby AmPm Cafe USJ21. The fare was rm2.80 but I only ask him to pay rm2, but he insists to give me rm3.

9.12am, 11min 5km to pickup AFF at Jalan Putra Bistari 2/11 Putra Heights. She uses UberFlash and I send her to Mcd Main Place Mall.

9.57am, 3min 600m to pickup FRD at Jalan USJ 21/3. 4 pax of Nepalese to Giant Hypermarket Putra Heights carwash. When arrived it seems there was something wrong for FRD to leave my cab. The fare was rm7.54. I just asked for rm7. After a while, he came back and gave me the extra 50 sen. Lol.

After I leave the carwash station, FRD called me to send one of his friend back to the house just now to pickup the locker key and passports. I asked for the double fare and they dont mind.
The Nepalese later talks and talks about Nepal politics and their work with 30 days a month no cuti-cuti and still manage to send rm1k every month without fail to home. His working permit and contract is 3 years and only left 9 months to go.

While driving and looking for ping, 11.20am, SIE and her 2 kids at Dancing Art Solutions Jalan Bandar Lapan Belas Puchong sending to Jalan BK 5a/3b. The kids were spoiled and screaming around on the back seat while SIE also trying to calm them down.

12.14pm, RYA at Jalan Hujan Abu 3, Taman OU sending to Jalan Riangria Taman Gembira. This Chinese lawyer likes to talk too.

12.43pm, CAT at Jalan Sepadu 6 but when arrived no rider show. Actually the pickup point was wrong. So I cancelled. The second ping also wrong from CAT on Residency V lobby. I send her to far far away Sungai Wang Plaza.

1.28pm, JOS a Mexican guy just visited here from China business trip. Pickup at Holiday Inn Express sending to Dataran Merdeka.

1.45pm, FTN at Suasana Kijang Bank Negara. 4 pax of young UM students (3 girls and 1 boy) sending to Dewan Tunku Canselor DTC UM.

2.16pm, nearby UM students NKH and her gf sending to a new KL Gateway Mall Kerinchi. It's a free ride bcoz of a promo code. Note: recently I heard that some drivers try to avoid picking up UM students here due to their cheapskate attitude, ie using a lot of promo codes and giving lower ratings to the driver. Dear diary, today I completed 14 trips for 8hr 8min online. I need extra 4 more trips tomorrow for the Uber Quest of 18 trips to get extra rm35.

Starts the car engine and Uber apps at 6.32pm after waiting for my son from his office. The odometer reads at 115,942km. My rating now: 214 riders gave me 5star, rating 4.53 (getting better), AR 86%, CR 8%.

6.37pm, 5min 1km to pickup CHR, amoi and her big mom at Jalan Tasek 60, sending them to Bayu Puteri. My car kanna 'senget sebelah' meh.

Break at 7.19pm, Petronas Bayu Puteri. Pee and pray.

7.24pm, 6min 3km to pickup RAK a young boy at Kg Bakar Batu, sending to Leisure Mall. He got promo code, so he paid only rm1.

7.41pm, FRD, and husband and daughter at The Zon Stulang Laut Ferry Terminal. Just arrived from Batam for vacation. The husband who works at Jcorp likes to talk too. We talked about my current unstalbe job, Batam island tourist spots, Uber in JB, the dying The Zon shopping mall, BSN SSP lucky draw and current high priced houses. I send them to Adda Heights.

8.13pm, 9min 3.7km, WOO at Aeon Dato Onn 'Gate A', but I went to Gate B near the exit. After shouting to each other, he and his daughter walked toward my cab. I send them to Jalan Wijaya Taman Abad JB.

Getting lazy and tired, I set destination to HOME.

8.53pm, 5min 1.3km, a sexy ahmoi from China at Jalan Kuda Taman Abad sending her to pub City of Dreams Stulang Darat. This ahmoi cannot speak English or Malay. Aiyah.

9.07pm, 4min 1.7km, ATK at Jalan Lepas Tg Puteri. It's hard to get to her pickup point due to the construction and detour on the CIQ. This young good looking Malay lady is friendly too. When asked why not working in Singapore with triple rate of salary, she says, "maybe not, it's too much challenges!" I send her to Jalan Permas 7. At drop off Rumah Pangsa Permas Jaya, I showed her the fare of RM11.40, instead I only asked for rm11. But she gave me rm20 note and asked me to keep the balance. I asked her again to make sure. "Saya ikhlas ni uncle," she said and left my cab. I smiled at her. And I saw she smiled back at me. Hehehe.

9.57pm, after idling and waiting for the ping to go home for 25min, 5min 1.7km, SNY ahmoi at Flat Sri Intan Seri Alam going to Jalan Tasek 59. She got a free ride bcoz of promo. Good lah.

I straight drive home sweet home.

Today I managed to have 7 trips, 3hr 22min. The money is meagre.

6.20am, 10min 3.7km to pickup SRJ an Indian (not local) at Klinik Q Asia Jalan Masai Lama, sending to Restoran Hai Yun, Kota Puteri.

Note on near missed. During the SRJ pickup at Jalan Suria 47, there was one car Waja, driving on the middle of the road, actually on the white line dividing the roads! Aiyah! I quickly honked and swerved to the left side and stopped, otherwise I was hit by that the drunken keling. I know lah today is your raya day. Punde*nale!

6.47am, 12min 5.3km to pickp SPH a Chinese (non local) at Flat Jalan Tasek sending to JB Sentral.

7.18am, CAN at the same spot at JB Sentral sending to Smart Dream Apartment Taman Dato Onn. The 50 years old man works at Singapore Kopitiam, dont want to be Singapore PR, working for 30 years in the island, worried many motorcyclists fatal accidents and want to retired next year. At the drop off lobby, I just asked for rm5 even the fare is much few more sen higher. The reason I dont take the extra sen bcoz psychologically it may persuade the riders to give me 5star, but he insisted to give me extra rm1 only and said, "gua tak mau lu lugi maa."

7.40am, 8min 2km to pickup PAN at Apartment Jalan Idaman Larkin sending to JB Sentral.

9.11am, while at KSL, 1min 0km to pickup QII a China man and wife and daughter at nearby Holiday Villa sending to Larkin Sentral. He asked me, "where is the gate?" I told him to use the front one, but the way is block by construction.

9.44am, 1 min 0.1km to pikcup JND an Indon bibik at nearby Pasar Larkin Sentral sending to Jalan Wadihana. She made me confused a bit during the pickup and dropoff, so I gave her 2 stars.

12.12pm, HUT an apek at Jalan Merah sending to JBCS. He also complained about the local teksi who keeps cheating on customer. "Biasa wa kanna dua poh hinggit," he said. Also on previous Uber drivers who cannot find his pickup location, "wa kanna penalty rm5 lah, aiyah!"

12.46pm, 3min 500m to pickup HPT and his bf at Galleria Kotaraya on the opposite entrance. I send them to Zoo Johor.

Tired, I take a break at Masjid Ayer Molek. Pee and pray. Later I take a short nap, but it was a good 40minutes nap!

TRIP 17 TO 18

2.23pm, 4min 1.3km to pickup SYV an Indonesia maid at Jalan Kemuncak 1 sending to a big villa at Jalan Turna.

2.50pm, 3min 1.6km to pickup HBB a foreign and his bf at Mcd Nong Chik sending to nearby Paragon Residence for a free ride.

Break at Petronas Larkin. Pee and jajan rm12.

Update on Quest for rm30 from 10am to 10pm. My status now: 10/15 trips. 5 more trips to go. I think I can make it if I stay driving until 6 or 7pm today.

TRIP 19 TO 23

4.00pm, 5min 800m, a young chinese man at M Condo Larking sending to Starbucks Taman Molek.

4.30pm, 4min 500m, KEN and his bf at Jalan Redang 1/1, local chinese going to Senai Airport. I drive using the EDL highway.

Break 5.12pm, at Petronas Senai Airport. Pee and pray.

5.27pm, 8min 3.4km to pickup LSN an Indon with her gf at KFC Senai going to Medan Selera Perindu Senai.

5.54pm, 7min 4km, ART an Indon lady put a wrong pickup point, actually they were waiting at the same Medan Selera Perindu. I dont mind. 4 pax of Sumatran sending to Hutan Bandar Kulai. The young man sitting next to me looks like a 'jakun', "mana bandarnya? Kalo ditempat kami ni penuh dengan orangramainya."

After dropping them off, I came back to the Senai airport and took some sunset photos at the roundabout.

"Budak-budak nih tak sukak nasi lemak, wak," said the Indon makcik referring to many Indon factory workers and girls who just arrived by the blue factory buses. Ooo okay lah. So I bought just 3 pieces of kuih karipap, keria and kasturi.

I can smell the alcohol arak and I wound down the front windows. They dont mind. Later insisde the cab, she likes to talk too. I asked, she said, "saya org Indon lah uncle.." Wah, her Malay so good. "Saya Batam, tak sama pulau Jawa," she said again. Ooo okay, I said, Batam was part of Kepulauan Johor Riau Lingga empire last time, so the bahasa should be sound the same. I send her to pickup her cowok at Jalan Murni. Her cowok smells bad like not taking bath for a week. So I wound down the front windows too. Later I 'deal tepi' to send the couple to PLaza Angsana.

I dont drive Uber in the evening, since wife already calling calling to send off my boy back to his hostel in Melaka.

8.06am, 5min 2.5km to pickup BBR. I made a mistake when my buzzer turned on which I thought he cancelled. So I parked then realised that he still on the waiting. So I drove to him, then as expected he cancelled. Kannina.

Now the mom needs to take care of him as his wife (I can smell the crisis here) not wanting to look after him. His kids also not staying with him. I told them, "dulu makcik jaga abang masa kecik, dah tua bangka pun makcik jaga lagi," meaning your mother still take care and pamper you from your baby child and now at this age also your mother still need to do it! They just laughing.

When I offered him the Uber ride, he tried to nego with the fare. When checking the distance is about 42km, he wanted to pay only rm30, then rm33 then rm35. I was reluctant as sure there will be nobody going back to the city. He said that "Allah will give you more rezeki. You know uncle, Syria no got fight fight and I am miskin." At last I sent him there with half-hearted only and considered it a big mistake. And before reaching Masjid Jamek Bandar Penawar, I tried to take our photo, but politely rejected. He said he is an 'ikhwan', a person who is very pious and not to be photographed as dont want to be condemned (jahanam). " I like to use my own natural camera given by Allah," he said many times. At the drop off, finally he gave me extra rm5 tips for my trouble. Lesson learned, please pity to yourself first before you pity others.

Sunday, 1 October 2017. Today I plan to drive Uber for the second day in a row during this weekend. However, wife already requested me to accompany her to Kipmart and Tesco to buy our weekly groceries. What can I say?

After sending my daughter to her school this morning, I drove straight to JB city center bcoz I planned to go to Woodlands this morning. I set the Uber next destination to JB Sentral. No ping for a long long time until I arrived at Jalan Tebrau.

7.11am, got ping ping ping from Jalan Keris at Taman Sentosa, near KSL CIty Mall. 6 min 1.2miles to pickup 4 young Nepalese at the night club. They looked sober to me. The drop off point was JB Komtar, but the guy sitting next to me telling that actually they wanted to be dropped off somewhere near to Komtar. I said okay. But first, I need to stop at Plaza Pelangi to drop off 2 of the guys. After that I drove straight to the location he told me. The surging rate was 1.9x almost double. The guy later gave me one ringgit extra. Okay lah.

Then I drove straight to Woodlands. 7.40am I arrived at Woodlands old town. But I took almost 2 hour to return back to JB Sentral.

9.21am, I was at JB City Square by the road side. I set the next destination to HOME, and waited for a while. After 7 minutes still no ping, so I drove straight home bcoz my wife calling calling again to go to Kipmart wet market. But instead using the EDL highway, I chose the old Jalan Tebrau.

10.01am, RHM ping me after I missed the flyover at Pandan. So I need to drive another 7minutes to get RHM and her husband and their little daughter at kedai mamak Syed Bistro. I send them to nearby Aeon Tebrau City for a free ride since she got the promo code. OTL

Then I switched off the Uber apps and drove straight HOME.

Due to busy day, I didnt drive Uber in the evening as I was planned to. But it's okay. Family first. No worries.

Today I managed only to complete 2 trips with 1.32 hours online.

Latest ratings: 187 rating me with 5 stars, 4.49 star rating, 88% acceptance rate and 7% cancellation rate.

Note. Dear diary, later today I got a nice and warm complimentary from my rider. She/he says 'peramah' which I cannot find an equivalent English word for it. Aiyah. I believe the rider is the one I picked up at Kipmart market yesterday. But I maybe wrong. Anyway, thank you, you make my day.

DRIVING UBER JB TODAY

Saturday, 30 Sept 2017, after more than 2 months not driving Uber, today I restarted the Uber apps again. Link to the last time I drove Uber on 24 July 2017 - Uber apps got drunk.

Start the Uber apps at 6.13am with 113,543km shown on odometer.

6.16am, 12min 5.5km, WAC, an ahmoi with short pant Jalan Gelam 8 Taman Rinting going to CIQ.

6.58am, 3min 0.6km, OOI a cleft harelip mark 'sumbing' ahmoi at the same CIQ going to Jalan Permas 1/4.

7.19am, 10min 4.5km, NHN a foreign young lady at Jalan Anggerik 28 Johor Jaya sending to Jalan Dedap 11. Cannot speak Malay or English. Aiyah.

Me cancelled on 13min 10.9km, and 12min 11.3km.

7.41am, an ahmoi, Jalan EJ 2/4 Taman Ehsan Jaya. When arrived at the house, I called, the ahmoi said going down, but after waited 7min still no show. So I cancelled and she was fined rm5. Shortly I saw she and her bf waved at me and I shouted and told them to request a new one.

7.56am, VIM at Jalan Lembing 15/7 said sent me an Uber message which I cannot see to pick up at her house 15/6 after I arrived at the pickup pin location. Inside the cab, the minachi complained that there were 2 previous Uber drivers cancelling on her booking. Then later sending her to the bus stop at Jalan Kota Tinggi which she cannot find in the Uber apps, instead she chose the Shell petrol station.

8.33am - break at Petronas Desa Cemerlang to pee and fill up ron95 for rm45.

8.38am, 4min 1.9km to pickup another chubby ahmoi at Jalan Tropika 11 going to house near Foon Yew School Stulang Laut. The uber surging rate was 2.7x which almost triple and I confirmed it again to her. The trip was 19.83km in 22min 13sec, instead of normal RM16, her fare was rm44.47, and after deducting the Uber fee of 25% (rm11.12), the driver earned rm33.35. Cool. I wish I could get all the surging trips!

9.15am, 7min 2km, JIF at JB Sentral ping me but when almost arrived, she cancelled. Then she ping again, I accepted it and pick up at JB City Square instead. 2 pax going to Larkin Sentral.

9.33am, 5min 2.2km, LIN at Jalan Saksama. She sent me message to pickup at 'block m'. I sent her to KSL City Mall, on the Starbuck entrance.

9.55am, 5min 2.1km, WNG at New York Hotel with his bf going to JB Sentral. He used credit card.

10.10am, 7min 3.9km to pickup DVN at Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA). The gps showed me the pickup location is 'Stor', luckily he called to pickup at the registration entrance. The local Indian veteran man is retired TNB officer liked to talk and talk and plan to travel to Pontianak. I told him I was visited Pontianak in 2013 and it surprised him. He paid me RM1 only after rm3 promo discount.

10.34am, ADL and his gf at Hutan Bandar going to Larkin Sentral. The young couple also paid me RM1 after rm4 promo discount.

10.51am, LEP at nearby KFC Larkin Sentral waited inside rather than by the roadside. It took me a while to call her 3 times. I send the ahmoi to Sutera City Mall.

Then after drop off, I set destination to home. One ping 11.27am, 8min 5.4km but she cancelled. Okay lah, no worries. Then I drive straight home with now ping in between.

12.10pm , home sweet home. Need to bring out family for this weekend as promised. Wife already calling calling so many times. Aiyah.

Part 2: Driving Uber JB Today in the evening.

6.06pm, startup the car engine. The odometer was 113,747km.

6.08pm, 6min 12km to pickup AMR, a young boy at kedai mamak Afrin sending him home at nearby Jalan Bayu. It's a free ride bcoz he got the promo code rm4. Good lah.

6.24pm, 12min 6km - rider cancelled.
6.25pm, 11min 6.4km - FTM also cancelled when I almost reach the Kipmart Masai. 2 min later she ping again and I accepted.

6.32pm, 5min 1.7km, FTM again at Kipmart Masai sending to kompleks PG. She apologised concerning her cancellation just now, but I told her it's okay. She also got promo code of rm3.

6.51pm, nearby EMI and her 2 kids at Sasa restaurant Kompleks PG. I send them to Jalan Ciku 5 Taman Kota Masai.

7.10pm, MIC at nearby Jalan Duku 18. At first I thought she was a chinese. But during pickup, I noticed there were 3 Indian girls and their traditional dressing going to Kuil Arulmigu Raja Kallamunan at Taman Rinting. Later when I asked, MIC told me that her mom is Christian Indian and her dad is Hindu. That's why. The promo is rm4.

7.33pm, break at Petronas Taman Rinting. Pee and pray. Jajan rm8.

7.57pm, 10min 5.3km, ARF an Indon man near Terminal Bas Masai. But when I arrived, no rider show. I called him and we shouted to each other. He said he's waiting at the bundle shop which I cannot find. The surging was very good at 2.3x, but it's okay. No rezeki mas.

8.17pm, AHS ping twice at nearby Jalan Pasar Taman Masai Utama. The surging rate was 1.7x, and when she hopped in, the destination is 63km to Air Bemban Kulai. Wahlaweh, so when I asked, she looked surprised and said normally she paid only RM50 something. I explained to her about the surging rate it's going to be more than rm100. But she doesnt want to cancel the ride since she afraid might not getting new driver very soon. So she agreed for me to send her to Ayer Bemban Kulai. It's a very very long journey about one hour. After dropping at her house, the Uber didnt calculate the toll fare correctly, so I send a report to Uber. Later Uber wrote back to me saying that the toll fare was included in the fare. Kannina Uber.

From Sedenak, I set Uber destination to HOME. No ping until Kulai when I take a break and filled up the tank at Shell for rm44.

9.52pm, RDY 8min 5.7km - rider cancelled.
9.57pm, STI 13min 8.8km, - rider also cancelled.

10.00pm, DWI 10min 7.3km behind Econsave Senai, at warung Tiga Abdul. 3 Indon young ladies sending to Taman Impian Jaya Saleng, but need to stop to drop off one of the Indon girls. Later she gave extra rm3 tip. I smiled at her, and she smiled back at me. OTL

From Saleng, still no ping. I drove by using through Felda Tiram and Pekan Tiram.

11.33pm, arrived HOME sweet HOME.

Today, I completed 17 trips for 10hr 15min.
