Starts the car engine and Uber apps at 6.16am.
6.20am, ANG an Italiano at Seri Mutiara Condo sending to his factory Dunlop Flex at Jalan Perak 3.
Dear diary, I think this guy ANG who gives me nice 5 star comment on Uber, "very good deiver!" See the spelling error my dear diary. But he is making my day.
7.12am, after fillup ron95 at Petronas Taman Rinting, got ping from China-boy at Jalan Teratai 59 sending to JB Sentral. He works in Singapore.
7.51am, RYN at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jalan Ngee Heng sending to Petrie Apartment. When arrive at the lobby, this boy waving me from other side. Later, he told me that hotel staff cannot wait at the lobby. Lajiao lah.
8.01am, ROS a Pinoy lady with Malay bf at Jalan Mohd Amin after having breakfast I think. I send them to Tropez Residence. They both talking talking only on nearby properties. But they dont want me to go inside the condo for whatever reason.
But SIN already ping me before dropping ROS and her bf just now. SIN wants me to pick him up inside the Tropez Residence at Tower C. When he is inside the cab and I start the trip, he wants to go to Senai Airport. Yay, but it's just a normal trip. We talk and talk as SIN is very friendly and the best part is that he was the Uber and Grabcar driver in KL while he was studying there. Now he has job helping his dying father.
Talking about SIN's experience driving Uber and Grabcar last time. His friend got banned by Grabcar bcoz she play play games and earned her rm20k permonth. That was then when Grabcar just started operating when driver got many incentives and riders got many promo codes. But now she only gets rm6k with the same hour she is driving. He recalls that he also used to get rm2k just play play gaming with friends while 'minum teh tarik' with the Grabcar. But now Grabcar know how to control the gaming.
SIN also talk about current economic downturn. "That 1MDB issue make my heart hurt lo," he tries to raise the issue, but uncle potong him and talking about other things. "My dad's business now very bad, new Chief Minister bans the logging now, last time with old CM also got commission mah," he story mory.
Almost 10am already and uncle remember to go home, pick up wife and send her to buy groceries. Aiyah!
This afternoon uncle no more driving Uber in JB. Need to go back to KL with daughter. See you all in KL yah!
