So what can I do? Then the bossy gentleman asks me to change the radio station to BFM 69.9FM. Wah lah weh. He tells me to follow MEX highway via Lebuhraya sungai besi via TAsik Selatan. Then he tells me to turn on the volume louder bcoz my car when travel on the highway got very noise one. Lajiao lah.

Camp at Petronas Presint 18 Putrajaya for a while, topup ron95 for rm35 (20liter). Then I drive back to KL and do some odd jobs.

So, I send her to Menara Multipurpose, parking at the basement, going up to the SIA office, waiting her to change the ticket date. All this business takes about one hour and I dont mind. 8.23am, OSC at nearby KTM Sungai Buloh wants to go Hospital Sungai Buloh again. But due to unfamiliar roads, uncle follow the crazy Waze to the highway. To get to the correct location uncle need to drive further up and uturn for 5km. I dont want to cancel thinking maybe he is a very sick old man. But actually he is a boy coming from Setapak just visiting his brother who is working in the Pharmacy there. Lajiao lah.

9.08am, MES at nearby Faiz Curry House which I cannot find as I follow the pin. When call, he is actually at the correct place but still cannot find the restaurant, except the KK chinese restoran and mamak Miera. Ironically also the negro Nigeria wants to go "To Kepong." When asks, the bugger told me to go there follow gps which anger me. I told him Kepong is big town, it can ne farther. Then he gets upset and ask me to stop and get out from the cab. Good lah. Since the apps cant be cancelled, I call Grabcar helpline. The staff told me just press drop off and enter total fare as rm0.00. Dear diary, this is my second time the rider getting out of my cab while still on the job. Uncle so stressful u know my dear diary. OTL

7.34am, after sending off daughter, got ping from MMC, 2 boys and a girl at Menara TA One. When arrive at lobby cannot find them. Need to ask the receptionist makguard and see them on the other entrance. When asks, they not talking much and all the way quite to PV15.

8.02am, HOK a smart boy put a ping somewhere Jalan Genting Klang. Actually he puts a note and wants the Grabcar driver to pick him up at PV13. When inside the cab, I asks whether he cannot find PV13 on the apps. But he told me that due to the 'higher demands' he needs to cheat the apps so he can pay the normal rate. Lajiao lah! So I got cheaper fare than shoudl be. What can I do as a Grabcar driver? Dear diary, this is a game and need to be very careful next time.

8.23am, got ping from this bitch who cannot write English properly at Rampai Court Apartment. While ondway, she messages me, "crab car?" Kannina. This is not crab or crap car, I told her. When arrive at the gate, the bitch no show for 7min. I cancel the booking. Sure my cancellation rating will be very high today.

4.50pm, ROH a Bangla wearing short and singlet at flat near to Galaxy shopping mall. First ping he cancel, then ping again. This is his first time using Uber. Before this he normally using Grabcar. His friend told him that Uber is cheaper. Thats mean I am the cheapest teksi driver in this country. Kannina Uber! Like other Bangla students, he can speak good English but dont understand Malay. Lajiao lah Bangla. Send him to Jalan Tasik Selatan 8.

5.14pm, KHA 3 pax of Arabs at One South sending to Aramex jalan Tandang PJ. Actually, KHA ping me before I drop off the Bangla ROH and instantly calling me asking "how many minutes?" which I dont know the time to pickup since the first trip is not ended yet. Furthermore, I am talking to him how to see the duration in apps? Pundenale! But fortunately, they located straight away from Tasik Selatan, no need to uturn and go back one. When arrive at pickup location, they already waiting. They talk and talk among themselves. After drop off at the ulu Jalan Tandang, KHA asks me whether I can wait for 5 min for them. I say I cannot wait bcoz I already accept a new job. But suddenly the new job which is far far 13 min away at Autocraft Motor Carriages Jalan Yong Shook Lin PJ New Town is cancelled. Good lah.

7.05am, NIM at Jalan Rebab 3. She told me to drive fast fast going to Full Gospel Church Jalan Anggerik. I told her that my car cannot fly wan. She only laugh. Then I ask her where she is from as her English is not very good and she not speak Malay. I thought she was from India although she looks more Chinese. She says she is local. Then she laughs and laughs again. Kannina.

7.44am, breakfast at restoran mamak near Shell Petronas.

8.08am got ping from 13min to Hospital Penawar Pandan Kangkar Tebrau but cancel in 2min. Bugima. Then drive thru Jalan Pandan to city centre. Camp and try to take a short nap at Petron Kampung Melayu Majidee, but suddenly got beep beep beep from.,

At the beginning we just keep quiet, then later when he told he also uber driver then we talk and talk. I told him that I driving part time and my other odd jobs of grasscutting and despatch boy. "Uncle, I dont believe you wan. your English is very good!" Near Taman Sentosa suddenly his wife cannot tahan to pee, so I drive to the nearest Shell station. He says they are going to Bintan Island for friend's wedding. Later I send them to the Ferry terminal. "I give u 5 star ye Uncle!" KEN shout from the back door. I smile only.

After calling and shouting and frustrating almost want to cancel the booking, I enter the townhouse again. The cleaners bibik complains that there were 3 Uber drivers already cancel the jobs since 1pm bcoz too far and cannot find the house. Aiyah, she doesnt know how stressful is finding them.

3.48pm, amoi at Jalan Api Api 18 sending to Jalan Austin Perdana 1.

4.41pm RAI at Aeon Tebrau City sending to Jalan Teratai 70 Johor Jaya.

5.04pm, EVN at church Jalan Anggerik 21 Johor Jaya sending to Austin Perdana.

Then uncle find the nearest Petronas about 3.3km, relieve myself. Then got ping from the same spot at Austin Perdana Water themepark and I need to drive back there. Aiyah.

6.00pm Mmc at rhe waterpark going to Taman Serene. 1.4x surging.

6.55pm uncle go straight to JB Sentral. Got 3 play play pings then they cancel respectivly. Kannina. Then got beep beep beep from Pelita Indah Condo Wadi Hana JB which is 8min away. I dont want to take a risk bcoz got meeting Kulai in 1 hour. So I cancel the job.

Then switch off Uber apps and uncle leave the JB Sentral and drive straight to Kulai to meet client.

Fast forward. 8.55pm, ondway to JB and at Saleng got ping from this bugger at Senai airport. At first I feel happy bcoz this is my second Senai airport job so far in JB. 10min to pickup, then 5min later he cancelled. Lajiao lah. But its okay, I just drive to the airport and camp for a while. Then a lady SHL ping from Jalan Terkukur Bandar Putra. I told her 20min to pickup. She replies that she need to be at Taman Tun Aminah by 9.45pm. I ask her to cancel.

9.33pm, drive out from the airport without any passenger. Dear diary, its a dilemma and struggle for JB Uber drivers to find many many genuine jobs like in KL one. So sad want to cry but what to do. Then I go straight home via Jalan Skudai instead using Plus highway. Then miracle happens near Taman Tun Aminah where bad traffic jam due to major accidents. Then this bugger ping from Sutera Mall which is on the other side of Skudai Highway, to get to his location takes about 13min, then 1min he cancel. Lajiao. Good lah. Then KAT ping from Sutera Mall too, and she calls me, but I told her taking about 25min to get her bcoz not pass the accident area yet. She says she can wait wan. See my dear diary, not many Uber drivers at this moment. Then after that when I want to uturn I see there is also bad traffic jam on the other side of the Jalan Skudai towards Sutera Mall. I cancel, then she calls again asking why cancel, I told her cannot get her bcoz bad traffic jam. She says, "takper, takper," in Malay means "no what no what."

So, after frustared not getting any jobs from Kulai, I drive straight home. Update blog and sleep zzzz. Tomorrow is the last day in JB.

After drop off them at Subang airpot, the time is noon and time to go Friday prayer already. Masjid Subang uncle already sleeping while listening to khutbah. So no need to wait after prayer for another noon nap. OTL.

Now I know where The Aster Hotel is. Charcheebye lah Waze.

Dear my sweet diary, today I was invited to attend Grabcar offer a 'Gold' project or leasing a car for Grabcar purposes only. 1.33pm, I arrive at Grabcar HQ next to Renault showroom but are directed to Dewan Secita which is far far away. 2.12pm arrive at the presentation room with a lady and only 4 Grabcar drivers including yours truly. A short presentation by the lady only on Grabcar priority jobs. Renting of Nissan Almeera for 5 years with payment of rm472 per week to Grabcar. Driver cannot use Uber apps anymore. Questions on the car leasing only entertained by Mayflower. So far, 81 project Gold drivers are active. Personally uncle feels that leasing or renting a car for Grabcar jobs is not worth it. Unless we dont have any other job to cari makan. And we kanna kayuh 20 hours everyday for 5 years. Aiyah. And that Grabcar lady is manyak langsi wan! Charcheebye lah.

Due to bad traffic jam, he talks and talks about his career time before retirement in 1995. He mentions about Mahathir, Anwar and Tajuddin crisis. Due to delay in traffic jam also makes uncle thinking that RM42 is worth it or not. But I need to content, shouldn't I my dear diary?

FAI is a fat grown up boy which I thought he was a girl. Aiyah. Inside my cab for 5 min then sleep and snore all the way to Menara AIA Lebuh Ampang.

8.57am, CHR at Changkat Bukit Bintang going to Chulan Tower. A French guy who lives here for 4 years already.

Camp and want to use toilet at Petron Bukit Bintang but people queu up. Kannina. Then go to Petron Jalan Tun Razak with "Our Toilet Always Clean" banner also people queu up. Finally go to Petronas Lot 59 Jalan Ampang have to wait 10min to use the toilet.

9.56am, JAN at Embassy View sending to Ascott Sentral near Menara Shell where her hb is working. We talk and talk a lot about her 2 months here. She is from Aspen Colorado.

At PJ already noon, I want to go home for a break. Wait for any Grab ping. 1 ping from nearby only and going not so far, so I cancel. Switch off the apps and drive straight home. But uncle need to go supermarket to by groceries as a list already prepared by my daughter.

Got ping ASA and KEL at Bandar Baru Ampang and Kenari Court respectively. But I cancel both and put remarks "no rider show" bcoz they are at different place than the pin location.

3.27pm, JOH at Hospital Ampang sending to Jalan Lemasai 8/16 Seksyen 8 PJ. Dear diary, I just know that the word "lemasai" is a type of fish. Aiyah.

One of the ladies asks me, "what is Lanai Kijang is a shopping mall?" Then I ask her back why they are going there? She says it's for their training. My sweet diary, a note, Lanai in Malay means a veranda or patio, a place to reflect and learn. Kijang is a distinctive symbol in the Bank Negara Malaysia logo.

7.52am, MND at Duta Vista going to The School Jaya One.

This boy is manyak langsi mah. I give him 1 star.

WE talk and talk about life and his first experience using Uber apps. They are Sarawakians (Kuching) and first time using Uber apps today. This morning, they used teksi drivers charge him rm50. "This trip could be much cheaper than rm50," I assured him. Since here in KL, he likes to try all the Malay local food, ie nasi goreng, nasi pattaya, nasi kandar etc.

I send them to nearby Berjaya Times Square.

2.03pm, VAL, a Nigerian with bf at Berjaya Times Square. When calls,he still inside the mall. I was asked by the security guard to drive one round and back. Kannina. Then I send him to Jalan Chow Kit, but he needs to go to the market to buy groceries. Wait his bf for 5 minutes. When checking on Grabcar apps, the fare from here (Chow Kit) to The Capers is rm8 only. I dont mind. Then he asks to send them to The Capers Sentul, but he needs to buy food first at the nearest Burger King. I drive them to the Burger King Masjid Jamek. Then I check again the Grabcar fare from there (Masjid Jamek) to The Capers now is rm24 due to longer route and higher demands! Good lah. VAL looks surprised and gloomy. I told him whether he wants me to wait and pay the higher fare which he agrees. Then he goes inside the Burger King while his bf just sitting at the backseat. Later arriving at the Capers, bcoz of pity, I give him rm2 discount. Okay lah.

3.28pm, YON at Heritage Condo Sentul to Aman Puri Kepong. The man calls and asks me to to Block B and I wait there for a while. Then he calls again and asks to come to the lobby. Then suddenly one negro lady hails me, which happens to be YON sister.

4.51pm, a Nigeria GDW at Taman Wangsa Permai pings and later calls me to wait at 99 speedmart. I did follow and wait, but suddenly the heavy rain pours. He calls again to pick up at 7 eleven, which annoying me. Then I cancel.

WARNING TO UBER DRIVERS FOR CASH ONLY FARE

Starts at 6.51am. After one week, finally my Uber apps is working now.

7.30am, MEH ping from Soho Suites going to KLIA. Yay!
But while pickup his bf, I hastily parking in the middle of lobby driveway, and this motorbike shouts, "next time close the door lah!" Lajiao lah.

Camp at Petronas KLIA exit at rm38 (22liter). I drive to Putrajaya Imigresen as usual.

10.27am, GAM and his bf, Yemenis at Imigresen shouts to come at Suruhanjaya Tenaga which is nearby to where I park my cab. He doesnt want to walk to my car. Lajiao. I send them to Garden Plaza. But GAM gives me the big money, luckily I just enough small money to give exchange.

11.00am, MMD a Yemeni too at The Place @ Cyberjaya going to the same Garden Plaza again. Luckily he got the exact change.

11.33am, for the first time after 1 week my account pending, I use Uber apps today and got this bugger Syria MOH at Shaftsbury Residence sending to DPulze. But the unfortunate event happens when the apps calculate the cash total fare include the previous fare he still owing to the system. He says its not his fault bcoz he waited for 30 min but the driver never came. I ask him to complain to Uber, but he rather me to ask Uber. Kannina. He pays me only the fare I rode him then he left my cab. Later I send a report to Uber. Uber reply quickly by saying that "Uber cannot take responsibility for cash trips and the associated fares," but agree to adjust the trip fare "a one time goodwill" for me. But Uber staff reminds me to always checking the fare and collect the fare on cash trips. Then later I send him the second email asking what happen if the riders not willing to pay or running away? Can Uber just ban the rider account for this kind of issues?

12.17pm, Australian HAM at midvalley North court. I miss the turn to Bangsar and he seems upset. But I drive thru Pantai Dalam shortcuts straight to HSBC Amanah Jalan Telawi.

12.42pm, ERN at Lorong Ara Kiri 3 sending to Lorong Kurau. Bad traffic jam.

1.29pm, MOH at Menara UOA Bangsar going to Swiss Garden Jalan Pudu.

2.07pm, a Pinoy SAN at Kotaraya running towards my cab. Just about 10min on the road to Jalan SS 24/8 PJ, she gives me the fare in advance. She says, "this the only money I have" That scare me bcoz there will be plaza toll to be sure. She wonders, "why normally I pay only rm19, but now I have to pay rm26?" I told her about the high demand fare bcoz not many Grabcar drivers around. AFter fighting and arguing and shouting, I feel so pity for her, then at the end I decide to pay the toll for her. Camp for Petronas for RM30. Then I go to Kampung Sri Indah B Sungai Buloh for other odd jobs. Fast forward.

8.27am arrive at Aston Hotel to pick up JAM and send to KJM Aluminum Nilai. Camp at Petronas Jalan Mutiara. JAM supposed to have 2 meeting at the same factory office, but he calls at 10.11 to pick him up and send to KLIA2 airport.

From the KLIA2 no ping then I drive direct to Putrajaya.

11.41am, SUH at Bangunan Imigresen Putrajaya sending to Prisma Cheras with her little brother.

Camp at Petron Jalan Bukit Bintang to fill up ron95 for rm32 (18liter). 2.37pm already.

2.47pm, MAH and his Indian dad and sis at Hotel Al-Jafs going to nearby D'Majestic Place by Swiss Garden at Jalan Pudu. Dear diary, by now I already know where the D'Majestic Pudu is. Last time, Grabcar gps gave the wrong pin location.

3.54pm, AZM and his sisters at M-Suites going to KLCC main entrance.

4.15pm, AMR at Menara Weld sending to Menara Citibank. When arrive and wait, then this guard asks me to move out. I park outside by the roadside and very upset. AMR comes and apologises bcoz he saw the Grabcar apps showed him that I will arrive in 7 more minutes. Kannina Grab. Then when I drive about 100m, the screams bcoz he left his wallet in the office. I turn around back to Menara Weld and park outside waiting for him again. Kannina. When asks why the second time I call there is a lady voice, he says bcoz he not understand Malay. Lajiao lah. He is been here for 3 years and still dont know Malay and dont know where the Citibank is. And AMR gives no tips.

4.37pm, a Kazakhstan SAI at Menara Citibank ping when I was already drive far infront of the Chinese temple. Then I drive back and later send her to Regalia. She asks me where to find nasi goreng ayam less pedas in KL. Uncle recommend the My Mom's Chicken Rice Shop.

5.05pm already and decide to fetch up my daughter. Today is her third day of working. Later I go home during the heavy downpour, and call it a day.

12.00pm sharp, as booked, pickup JAM and his colleague at Kian Joo Batu Caves. Send his colleague to KLIA2 and leave them at the airport until 3pm while I go to Masjid Sultan Abdul Samad (Sepang) for pray and noon nap to recharge. 3pm pickup JAM and send him to Coca Cola factory far far away in Enstek ulu jungle. Leave JAM for the meeting. 5pm pick him up again and send him to Aston Hotel Nilai. He gives me ringgit money but I prefer his Singapore dollar meh. He wants to book me for tomorrow trip again. Yay! He never negotiates and he just accepts my quotation. He says, "you win I win mah!" It's understandable that it's hard to find Grabcar driver in Nilai. And for known reasons he doesnt want to call for a teksi. Good lah.

These 2 businessmen from Singapore want to use my service for the whole day in a couple of day. Yay!

When asks about his nickname, he says only danger to race #B since he doesnt like them very much. Kannina. I saw the fare is more than triple the normal, it's bcoz of the high demand. Good lah.

7.13am, EMI at KFC Bandar Baru Ampang which is 6km (9min) away. He can wait so no problem meh. The Pinoy with his wife can speak Malay. We talk and talk about life and teksi. He once kanna halau by teksi driver in the middle of the road bcoz the driver cannot find the destination and doesnt use Waze. The drive told him he got another booking! Lajiao lah teksi driver.

8.11am, JEN ping from Jalan Raja Laut. When arrive, I send "I AM HERE" message, no reply. Then I sms her, no reply. Then I call her no, no answer. Wait for 7min then I cancel. Charcheebye.

8.26am, MOH at LRT Damai sending to Kuarters Hospital KL. MOH is a part time massager just return from his friend's house.

11.33am, CRS with 3 friends near Masjid Desa Petaling. Actually his pin is very far far away at kedai mamak ABC. When hop in the cab, they boys play the music very loud one. Lajiao. I just keep quite. They were going to shops near Aeon Cheras Mahkota.

Camp for a while at Petronas Cheras Mahkota. No ping I drive home, still no ping on highway Cheras until MRR2. Near my house, got ping to go Kotaraya for rm15, but I ignore it. Turn off the Grabcar apps and go home. Short nap zzzz.

3.15pm, DIY and her gf at LRT Bandar Tasik Selatan. I ask her why she choose the LRT station instead the TBS lobby to get the Grabcar. She says there was a bad traffic jam on the lobby just now. I send them to Pelangi Condo Sentul.

6.47pm, the Nepal KHR again at Damai Suria sending him home at Bandar Baru Ampang. We talk and talk again. He wants to contract me to be his driver in the morning together with 2 other Indon cleaners who work at Icon. But I cannot promise him. "Better no commitment," I told him.

7.06pm, LYN at Galaxy Shopping Mall Taman Dagang, 5 pax sending to Pangsapuri Halaman Murni.

8.00pm, after camp for a while at Petronas Jalan Dagang, got ping from SFQ at nearby Kampung Pandan Dalam. Supposed to send her to Berjaya Times Square. When arrive at the pin location, the girl calls and shouts. After few uturns I still cannot find her then she cancels. Bugima SFQ.

Then I drive all the way by myself to Berjaya Times Square and still no pings. Kannina.

8.25pm, Amoi at Sungai Wang Plaza sending to Cheras Ria next to Ketumbar Heights. After calls and shouts and she and 2 more amoi come to me under the monorail station.

8.57pm, IVO at Jalan Kaskas 1 to Jalan Pandan Indah. She mentions her Alza and myvi infront of the house which I barely recognise at the night bcoz so many cars parking by the roadside mah. She brings a big luggage and put it on the bonnet trunk. I thought she going to airport. When asks, she says she just want to go wash her clothes. Kannina.

9.34pm, NHS at LRT Pandan Indah to Pandan Villa for cheap-put rm2 only. When the young pretty lady hands over the money, accidentally I touch her soft hand which still found electricity and fire burning inside me. OTL. Dear diary, should I wear hand gloves next time?

Before 10pm, I got ping with cheap-put rm2 fare which I ignore. Then later I decide go home.

Dear diary, today trips on Grabcar only is good compare to yesterday one. The Ketumbar Heights name still amuses me until now.

THE MOST SILENT AND LONGEST EVENING

Saturday, 9 July 2016. 6.21am starts the car engine and Grabcar apps. Uber still pending my insurance cover note. Lajiao.

6.43am, PVS at Hospital Ampang with wife and sick baby. I send them to Pangsapuri Berembang Indah. 9.6km for rm10 is cheap-put lah Grabcar.

7.10am, OLT at Lorong Damai 12 going to Miharja Condo. "The old one, not new one," the Pinoy told me.

7.25am, EAS at Viva Home but he wrote "Midah Mcd" which I cannot find it. But actually he wants to stop at McD Jalan Kuari. He wants to tapau a burger and asks me to wait for 2 min. I say only 5 min and set the 7min timer. After the buzzer off and I set another 7min then he comes. Ondway, he told me that this morning so difficult to get a teksi by the roadside. One standby teksi when asked to go to the same McD requesting for rm20 without meter. "It's better you pay uncle rm20 meh," I laugh at him. Then I send him to LRT Bandar Tun Razak.

8.05am, ELL ping to pick her mom and dad and little boy at Puncak Banyan Condo sending to Pantai Medical Center. The dad likes to talk and talk about raya and Grabcar.

8.53am, FIZ at Flat Bukit Angkasa Block 21 which streets is like to maneuvre a maze. Kannina. Uncle many times lost the way. Luckily she looks young and pretty that makes me cool down a bit. OTL. Send her to Faber Tower.

4.59pm, the only job of the evening. HEL at Sri Putramas Condo with her bf going to nearby Papparich Solaris.

From 5.18pm no ping, I drive to Jalan Ipoh, then Chow Kit still no ping. Then drive thru KLCC park and Bukit Bintang. Got one ping from this bugger to pickup at UOB bank which I not sure. Then he says near Starbuck at Lot 10. I also blur then he cancels. Kannina. 15min later I drive to find and confirm the UOB and Starbucks at Lot 10. Then I drive home bcoz boring too long waiting no ping and no job. I wish I could use Uber at this moment. Call it a day at 7.07pm.
