GRABHITCH: THE SECOND DAY

Starts the car engine and apps at 6.59am.

Dear diary, this morning I start the day with Grabhitch trip.

7.15am, ondway to send daughter to work, pickup BEL at Miharja Condo, going to Jalan Setiabudi Bukit Damansara. I send daughter first. Then suddenly it was a heavy rains and when near her boss house, the traffic was stuck and not moving. The domestic nurse finally gets out of the cab and walks towards the house which is about 100 meters further up. I offer my umbrella but she brings her own.

Camp at Shell at topup ron95 for rm40(?).

8.26am, NAT at Jalan Beka going to Ambank Raja Chulan.

9.09am, ROB at Sky Hotel Bukit Bintang going to KLIA2. Yay! The Singaporean young man likes to talk. The rains still downpour, and we also see 2 separate car accidents on the highway ramps.

10.56am, DAF at Jalan Warisan Permai Kota Warisan going to KLIA again. DAF a Sabahan working in the lounge. This is my second airport job.

10.09am, NAZ at Cyber Heights Villa. The Sabahan wants to pick up his car at Perodua Service Bandar Bukit Puchong.

1.11pm, LLY at Park Villa sending to IOI Puchong. At their house, my Celcom network got problem and trying for 15min, then I drive to Tesco. Both old ladies want to find money changer to change her rupiah money. Her son calling me, talking in good Malay which surprised me. Later I find out that the man is her son in law, a local Malay. Lajiao.

2.25pm, ELI at IOI Mall bus stop. Sending to Jalan BK 2/2a. The cute schoolgirl amoi talks and talks and she likes to make joke joke also. She complains about her iphone problem. "It's hard to find iphone service center here lah uncle," she grumbles. I asks her to go to Low Yatt or Midvalley. "Manyak jauh ho," she says sadly.

2.45pm, HAI at Treez going to USJ Mydin. The China lady wearing tudung and we talk a bit about her life. She's been here 8 years and speaks good Malay too. She just married to a Malay man. She asks me on how to edit her name. But uncle not sure how.

3.51pm, SND at Regina USJ Condo sending to Silverspoon International.

4.48pm, HEE at IOI Mall new Wing. Uncle get confused and enter the mall with no passing thru and need to pay rm1 for parking. Kannina. Later after shout and calling, I send HEE, her mom and 2 kids to Jalan Tempua 6. Actually I cancel the job, but still I send them.

5.24pm, PST at Restoran KH 20. 3 pax to the opposite side of Restoran Seri Mahkota, near IOI Mall again.

5.50pm, ZAK at Lebuh Puteri. He puts on wrong location, luckily he calls me. I send him to Flat 5 Tingkat LDP. He is a logistic officer and we talk about her experience as Mara Unikl student.

6.39pm, ABL at Jalan BPU 1 sending to LRT Bandar Puteri.

6.56pm, RIN ping to pick up her mom at the same LRT Bandar Puteri but on the opposite side. While ondway, RIN calls me that shccking me as I thought she's different rider. Charcheebye.

7.10pm, BSS at Puteri Bayu Apartment going to Subang Airport. Yay! Finally after half day driving teksi sapu here in Puchong town, I gets out of here. Btw, this is my third airport job of the day. He also impressed with Waze that brings him to the airport using unknown route on time!

7.52pm, UMR at the Saujana Subang going to Ridzwan Condo. 4 pax of Pakistan with smelly armpits.

8.22pm, MEM at Subang Pyramid with higher demand fare. When arrive at the lobby, this abang police shoo me away. Lajiao lah. I became restless and stressful. After shouting and calling, she asks me to go H&M. Minutes later, the other pretty Malay girl calling me to cool down. Bugima lah. I send their friends, an Oman couple to Golden Suites Bukit Bintang. Later, I send text to the pretty Malay girl to apologize about the shouting. She never replied back. Kannina.

9.22pm, LNH at Nandos Sungai Wang Plaza. I asks them (3 pax) to wait under the Bukit Bintang monorail station. Later, he asks me how do I know that they are Vietnamese. I say, "it's in your name man." Later at drop off at Kenanga Point, I say thank you, "Cum On."

9.56pm, KKO at Berjaya Times Square. I thought she was Japanese. Kannina. I send them (2 pax) to Jalan Pudu Ulu.

10.28pm, MAN at SBE Pandan Indah going to Pandan Terrace Apartment.

Then I drive straight home sweet home.

Dear diary, today I will try Grabhitch for the first time in KL while sending daughter to work. I got few requests on the trip, but I choose only 1 rider.

7.30am, ALY on GRABHITCH at Sri Ayu Apartment sending to Menara Tokio Marine. She likes to talk and talk. This trip she got rm5 Merdeka promo ride. Later she wants to drop off at LRT Ampang Park on Intercontinental Hotel side. "It's easier for you go straight sending daughter," she tells me. Of course my dear diary, I appreciate her gesture. "Last time uncle," she tells me story, " the Grabhitch driver wants me to pay rm10 eventho I got promo code for free ride! I dont want to argue la, I just pay him."

8.50am, FAZ at Flat PKNS AU3 Blok 10 going to LRT Setiawangsa. The young Malay guy so happy bcoz now Grabcar got many promotions for the riders. "Grab manyak syok ho! LRT promo la, now Merdeka promo la, la la la" he laughs and laughs. Lajiao la Mat.

Camp at Masjid Setiawangsa to relieve myself.

9.25am, ZIA at Jalan Setiawangsa 1a going to Jalan Puncak Kiara Utama and later sending to Surian Tower The Curve.

10.08am, LCC at Palm Sprin Damansara. She put a note, "will be waiting at the second gate next NKVE, not main gate, not 7-11 gate," but still confused me. Charcheebye. Later inside the cab, I tell her to simplify the note. And ironically also, the Grabcar apps indicates the correct PJ Trade Center, but the Google Maps and the Waze showing the wrong location. Kannina. But since she knows the place where she's working, she just leads the way.

10.26am, NKZ at Kampung Penchala Link going to KL Sentral. When arrive at the pin, calling her, and she telling me to pickup further far far inside Jalan Kampung Penchala Indah. Bugima, but luckily, she is a pretty girl so I calm down myself. 2 pax.

10.53am, OLG at KL Sentral wants to go UM Kolej 2 Tuanku Bahiyah. Then later she requests to send them to LRT University, then changes her mind to send direct to MidValley City Mall. I follow.

Camp at Petronas AU2 Taman Keramat for ron95, rm38 (22liter).

Noon break.

3.35pm, HNI at LHDN Jalan Duta going to KL Sentral. Her note, "pickup at pintu D, will see cimb bank."

3.56pm, STV at Compass Offices Menara Shell sending to Saville @The Park, Bangsar South.

4.16pm, HAN at Pantai Hillpark Phase 1 sending to Bangsar Shopping Center. When asked about her nice perfume, she says, "it's very cheap Amber, I am glad uncle like it."

5.15pm, got ping from SZA at Jabatan Imigresen Jalan Duta. The preggy mom is quite upset with the Immigration department jilake. "Aiyah uncle, you see ha, they told me to pickup the passport on the 8th. Now when I come, they say my passport not ready yet bcoz my photo not been processed! I thought today come here can just pickup the new passport for 5 min mah. Now have to wait and wait and take photo and wait again. They never called me about my photo problem before. No use we got latest technology if our mind still in the Stone Age," she grumbles and grumbles. Uncle heard her story also manyak geram ho. I send her to Jalan Bukit Indah.

Camp at Masjid Bukit Indah, carwash the cab for rm8. Pee and pray.



5.58pm, NFI at KFC Bandar Baru Ampang sending to throw a stone Spectrum only for cheap-put rm2.

6.12pm, WLS at LRT Ampang going to Jalan Ampang Utama.

6.23pm, MHD at the same LRT Ampang again sending to Chrystal Tower (Menara Kristal) condo next the Emerald Hills.

6.48pm, SOO at Jalan Bukit Indah 3/20 going to KLIA. Yay! 2 pax of ladies. SOO complains it's very hard to find Uber driver in Ampang compare at her workplace in PJ. They not talking to me much. Their discussion mostly on her francais business and current haze issue.

Camp at Petronas Exit KLIA. Pee and pray. Then drive straight to Cyberjaya.

8.57pm, ANA at Magic Cyberjaya sending to Jalan Binjai, next to Troika, and later send the other gf to Changkat Bukit BIntang. ANA is a Canada while Emmanuel is from France.

9.52pm, NIC at Amoda put a note, "I need fast!" Then 2 min later he cancelled. Whatthefork.
9.53pm, CRT at Wisma MPL but cancel later when I was trying to drive around to get to the main entrance at Jalan Raja Chulan.

9.59pm, actually I set the Uber final destination to home, EGN ping from JW Merriot Bukit Bintang. I send him to Ukay Heights. Later I go home sweet home.

Dear my sweet diary, today I am quite busy running errands. For Uber, I got 6 trips in 4hr 40min. For Grabcar, I got 7 trips including 1 airport job. Total hours today is about 10 hours.

Sending daughter again to Sunway Pyramid Convention Center for the Cosplay Festival 2016.

7.49am, RIZ at Nadayu 28. 3 pax of India Moslem, 2 girls and a guy seating next to me, seems drunk and talking and shouting to each other. They want me to send them to KK Supermarket Sunway and return. I say okay lah.

8.12am, STF at Suriamas. 3 pax of Chinese Indon, 2 girls and a guy seating next to me. The guy glued to his smartphone. STF, at my backseat, told me to use NPE instead of Federal highway. I say okay. I send them to Church of St Francis Xavier PJ.

8.32am, CHL at 1381 Jalan 17/28 PJ sending to Sunway Sutera Apartment.

9.06am, KYL at Tropicana Avenue going to Midvalley City. The Singaporean is on doorlock business and now is having the exhibition there. While ondway, we saw a large group of bicyle racing event for the Hari Merdeka. He was quite curious, "you independent from British end of this month kan?" I say yes, "yo lah, last time we were independent together, Singapore and Malaysia, but we kicked you out. Now, your 9th August independent is from Malaysia!" He laughs only. And I say again, "we have so many similarities bro, and at the same time we also have so many differences," we just talk and talk.

9.35am, XIA at Northpoint sending to PPR Kampung Raya Permai. This chubby amoi likes to talk and talk too. She works as a customer service at night shift for online gambling for 2 years mah. Her mather in Singapore and father separated already and now she lives with the dad. I ask her why not working and staying with mather in Singapore due to higher value of money. She says, "aiyah uncle, higher income higher pay but also higher expenses, manyak shuhsah ho, mama always calling me if i am going out, here papa no worries, i can go out without coming home also he dont care!"

10.01am, OLO at Covillea Condo going to KFC South City, but stop at Vista Komanwel to pickup his bf. I greet them in Pidgin English.

10.49am, MRD at South City Plaza. 2 pax to Bebel of Yemen, New YOrk! Aiyah. Actually the correct name is Restoran Gate of Yemen.

11.00am, CND at Jalan SP 5/2 sending to The Redeemed Church of Christ Church of God. The local amoi comes together with smartly blue dressed Nigerian guy in a black sunglasses.

11.10am, SHH at Fortune Park Apartment going to nearby One South. 4 pax of young India men. At dropoff, although the fare is rm2 only, I shock to see they have to pay extra rm5 for the previous driver cancellation job. "The driver cancelled it," SHH says sadly, but he still pays me and leaves.

12.00pm, JOD at Putra Indah sending to Concorde Hotel KL.

12.35pm, GNS at Menara KL. The young and handsome India guy with his pretty chinese gf going to Pavilion. But on second thought, the chinese girl maybe Nepal.

Got ping 12.55pm from PINKY infront of Bintang Palace Nightclub. When arrive she asks me to wait for a lady going to toilet. I say okay. Then suddenly, 2 more girls come inside my cab. I dont mind and I start driving, and suddenly she screams! She says, the lady and a girl still inside toilet, and she gets out of the cab and calling her. I wait in the narrow street, and the weather getting hot. When they arrive, the total pax is 5 now including the girl. I tell her that I cannot take 5 pax, they protest. I ask for extra fare, they dont agree. They say, other driver can take them with no problem. I say, this is my car and can only take 4 pax. I ask them to take one more car, they get upset and get out from the cab. Good lah.

1.17pm, PRINCEOFTOOF at Low Yatt Plaza. When see me as the driver, he so happy mah. Kannina. The Egyptian wants to go to Sogo. His wife, a local Kedah, died already two years ago. So he just visiting her grave. He talks and talks and later gives me rm3 tips.

1.37pm, VIA at Titiwangsa Sentral condo sending to Pullman Hotel. The young Pinoy man is looking a place to stay since his company just provide him the 5 star hotel for one month. He got 2 more weeks. He says he only got rm1500 permonth budget and it's hard to find a nice condo under rm2k now in KL, so I told him to stay with his friend and pay them rm1k and they will appreciate it. He will think about it.

Camp at Petronas Lot 59 Jalan Ampang to fillup ron95 for rm35 (20liter). Later, pee and pray.

2.33pm, SHA at The Intermark with her little girl on a trolley. I send them to Avenue K and I told her that now Grabcar having Merdeka promotion and she might get a free ride. She tells me that her husband working offshore now.

2.46pm, ZIZ at KLCC going to Bistari Condo. 3 pax of Arabs.

Daughter asks to pick her up at 5pm and I plan to use Uber apps to set my destination to Sunway Pyramid. So, I believe the Uber apps doing its job properly, when I got the next trips to Sunway Pyramid.

3.37pm, while still on Uber final destination, MSS at Titiwangsa Sentral Condo going to Regalia.

3.51pm, still on Uber final destination, IED at Bistari Condo sending to Wisma Cosway.

Then finally, 4.08pm, MBR at Berjaya Times is going to Sunway Pyramid Resort. Yay! I am so happy bcoz no need to wait longer. MBR with his wife and little daughter not much talking to me though.

I arrive at Sunway Pyramid too early at 4.40pm, wait for daughter until 5.25pm and straight go home sweet home.

Dear diary, while waiting daughter just now, I got a call suddenly from Uncle CN [+ Why today is my last day driving Uber JB} who says his Uber apps not working bcoz his credit card is lost and inactive. I told him to use cash for payment. Later he asks me to pickup at 8pm tonight from the Dialysis center, HOspital Sultanah Aminah. But when I told him that I am in KL now, he says sorry. Later also, I post about his job at my whatsapp groups and some riders are willing to take the job. However, one of the driver already called him and telling the group that Uncle CN needs a cheaper Uber fare and cannot afford to take Grabcar. Aiyah!

8.09am, ING at nearby ABD One Bistro going to Lagoon View Resort. 3 pax and at dropoff, the fare shows rm1 after promo code. The other amoi gives me the one ringgit and I take it. But ING told me that she pays by debit card. So I return back the money, "sorry uncle thought you want to give tips." Then later ING asks the girl the give me the one ringgit. So pity la uncle.

8.19am, TMO at Lagoon Perdana Apartment. 3 pax of Bangla construction workers. Send them at Sunway Tower East Hotel.

8.53am, WEI at McD Bandar Sunway, which is located opposite of Sunway Pyramid. 13 min eta and later going to NXP Semiconductor (Motorola). Dear diary, today I learn that Federal Highway junction can go to Kelana Jaya one from USJ but need to wait and get honking by other motorists. Kannina, whoever design this junction making people confused always. And his stinky no shower this morning makes uncle wind down windows a bit to get fresh air.

Got ping 9.00am, ARN at far far Tiara Kelana Condo but cancel. Lajiao.

9.20am, AZZ at Best View Subang Jaya hotel sending to Jalan USJ 6/3a.

9.37am, ZHI at First Subang Mall. The Indonesian lady with little daughter sending to SJMC.

9.53am, NSA at Subang Jaya Apartment going to Sunway Pyramid Convention Center. The Kuching pretty girl is quite friendly and likes to talk and talk. Even she shows me her cosplay pink dressing which I dont recognise. The bright student is now finishing her study for the final exam and time to enjoy herself at the Cosplay FEstival. I told her about my daughter and later she accept my FB friendship.

10.33am, CYX at Sun Inn Hotel. I surprised to see they are going to the Cosplay Festival which is a throw stone away. I told them they can walk to the festival in 3 minutes but still they want me to drive back there. So, after driving them for 45minutes through the traffic jam and big round turn to the Sunway Pyramid lobby, he told me, "next time we want to walk la uncle from our hotel." Lajiao lah.

11.19am, NAV at the same spot Sunway Pyramid ping me. I accept but when no reply on sms and the international number cannot be reached. Pussy pussy. DEar diary, I should wait 7min. But I hastily cancel the booking in 4min. Then suddenly her mom knocking on my window but she realised I cancel already. NAV looks upset and she tries to find another driver. Charcheebye. And I drive away.

11.36am, ASR at Dorsett hotel but his pin location is far far away at the Lake garden. Kannina. Then the Arab man calls and passes the phone to the hotel doorbell boy. Later, he doesnt care about his mistake, no apologize and ask me to just drive to Sunway Lagoon. 4 pax of Arabs, 2 men and 2 girls. Due to the bad traffic jam infront of Sunway Pyramid, I use the longer uturn and they seems no problem. Later at the dropoff, ASR insists me to park infront of the ticket counters, but I told them there is no parking. Fine. Then when I show them the Uber fare of RM9.56, I ask for rm10, and the Arab girl pays me with big note of rm50. I return back the balance of rm40, but this matherf*ther ASR wants the small change too, and I say no problem and give him 60 sen. I hope he is happy. Actually, I lost 15 sen on this trip. Pundenale la Arabs. Dear diary, this is not my first time experience dealing with stingy ARabs. Remember last week, I reject a group of 5 ARabs want to squeeze into my cab for a short distance trip?

12.08pm, SKY a Pinoy lady at Galeri Pinang 1B Apartment. But weirdly the GRabcar gps brings me to the next building of Tricourt. I call and shout at her. She also shouting at me to come to pickup her at Block 48. Ironically, I only can see Block 47 and 49, no Block 48. Aiyah. Then I drive around the neighborhood and asks pakcik also dont know. THen I cancel, but I still try to find the Block 48. Then, she ping again and I feel pity and accept. Later I realise that her apartment is just before the Tricourt Condo. This lady is quite talkative, and talk about her job as a maid and caregiver. Her only boy is in Manila with her mother, while her husband is working far far away in Shah Alam and they get together once a while.

1.45pm, JOY at Assunta Hospital also giving the wrong pin location at 85 Jalan Templer. I pick the golden lady up and send to St Francis Xavier church. I apologize for the delay and she seems okay.

2.06pm, LWH at nearby Domino's Pizza PJ Sec 5 going to Digital Mall.

Camp at Masjid Tun Abdul Aziz. Pee, pray and sleep.

3.37pm, MAK at Federal Academy of Ballet. MAK with bossy Singaporean sister and small girl dressing in ballet. I send them to 1 Bukit Utama Condo.

4.11pm, ALX a German at 1 Utama sending to Centerpoint Bandar Utama.

4.20pm, SIM at Laman Ara Utama sending to McD Centerpoint for cheap-put rm2 only. But later he asks me to send him to Casa Tropicana Block E.

Camp at Petronas Kota Damansara2. This is normal port for me for pray and pee. Also fill up ron95 for rm45 (25.7liter).

5.28pm, CALVIN (not real name) at PJU 3/17b Tropican sending to Public Bank Jalan Pudu. He likes to talk and talk about teksi drivers, his ex wife and kids, his lorry business. Later at dropoff, he gives me extra tips of rm6, which covers my upset moment with the stingy Arabs.

Later 6.06pm need to pickup daughter again at Sunway Pyramid and I decide not to Ubering or Grabbing tonight. Feel dizzy on my head. Good night dear diary.

IT'S A RECORD: FOUR AIRPORT JOBS IN ONE DAY

7.45am, MIL at Quadro sending to Wisma Technip. 2 pax.

7.56am, after drop them off, I park by the roadside at Wisma Technip. Then ping from AKS at The Forum Condo which I thought quite far away. But when I drive out to Jalan Bukit Bintang then I realized that the Forum Condo is just next to where I parked just now. Lajiao lah. I just wasted 2.5km to get to the same spot. I send AKS to KLIA2. Yay! This is my first airport job of the day.

On the way to KLIA2, I fillup ron95 at Petron for rm41 (23.5liter).

10.20am, LIZ at The Arc Cyberjaya sending to Multimedia University (MMU).

10.38am, BBB ping to pickup her bf at the same MMU's lobby. The bf talks a bit. He is from Ghana. He needs to do medical checkup for his student visa at Poliklinik Sri Permai.

11.02am, NRF at Jalan P9 busstop with her mom. The single mother likes to talk and talk. I send them to IOI City Mall which is far far away.

I got ping at 12.02pm from JOHNS. I just follow the pin location. Then later we call each other and shouting. I cannot find him as he doesnt know where he is. I cancel.

12.28pm, MOK at Alliance Bank going to KLIA2. Yay! This is my second airport job of the day. I thought he was from Indon. "Weh uncle, saya dari Sabah bah!" he shouts at me. Aiyah.

1.08pm, SKR ping me after I drop MOK at the arrival. 3 pax of 2 Nepal and 1 Somaliland. They just come back from seminar in Langkawi. This is my third airport job of the day. I send them to Tradewinds Pekeliling.

Noon break.



Got ping at 3.00pm, ALY ping from UTC Sentul. I call her while she and 3 other girls buying durians. Seeing them and the tapaw durian, I decide not to pick them up. "No, no, no durian please," I told her. She agrees and later cancels the booking.

3.12pm, SHR at nearby Mawar Apartment. 3 pax including a toddler going to The Face Suites. This young lady manyak high standard woh.

3.47pm, YEN at Wisma Selangor Dredging. The pakguard shoo me to park outside and return back but luckily she is waiting by the roadside already with her helmet on her hand. Aiyah. I send her to Tropicana Medical Center to visit her sick baby there. She likes to talk and talk.

Camp at Petronas Kota Damansara 2.

4.47pm, MUD at I-residence which is located behind the Petronas but since the one way road, I need to go one big round. Kannina. The Bangla brings a big baggage but not heavy. I send him to Pelangi Damansara, but I miss the turn and need to drive one big round via The Curve. He seems dont mind.

5.21pm, ARF at nearby Old Town White Coffee Pelangi Damansara. 4 pax of Bangla sending to nearby KFC The Curve. One of the Banglas got big dslr camera with him.

5.31pm, KAT at Dialog The Curve sending to 7-11 Empire Damansara.

5.51pm, REB at Metropolitan Square Condo going to Skybus which I am not sure selling the KLIA bus express or not. The Pinoy Civil engineer likes to talk and talk showing me that she is very workalic lady. Charcheebye la. Last time she took the Grabcar going direct from her office to KLIA2 couldnt make it in time and she needed to buy a new ticket. Today she plan to take the Grabcar to KL Sentral, buy Skybus ticket going to KLIA2. I wish her luck. Her flight will be at 9pm.

6.32pm, HHW a local China-boy ping me to help 2 German girls who just arrived at KL Sentral. They quite confused with their backpacks. I send them to My City Hotel which actually the same City Hotel at Jalan Petaling.

6.58pm, AMI at Ossoto Car Jockey sending her thru bad traffic jam at Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail and finally get into Menara TA One one hour later. When asked to pay me earlier, she says no money, but later her bf waiting by the hotel and pays me. She gives me rm4 tips. Okay lah.

8.01pm, RJK at Suria KLCC (Coach). 3 pax of India guys sending to Andalucia Pantaihills. One of the guys using my iphone charger. I dont mind. After dropoff I drive straight to Petronas NPE Pantai Dalam, then suddenly I realize his iphone still on my cab. He calls the phone, I told him to wait for 10 - 15 min. I fillup ron95 for rm50 (28.6liter). But not even 10min he calls directly to my phone again. Later, I pass the iPhone 6s plus back to him. 9.27pm, JRD, 3 pax of Pinoy, at Starbucks Nu Sentral going to City Gardens. Although the 3km trips causing them rm12 due to higher demand. Good lah for uncle.

At the same time, this Bas Pesiaran driver is honking the horn at me. Lajiao lah. He's blocking my car while the Korea girls hopping in my cab. I just ignore him, but I should take photo of him staring at me from his van while still honking his horn. Later at the Concorde lobby dropoff, the other girl gives me the small coins which I reject. JRK then gives me the correct notes.

Then uncle interrupt by telling the guys about similarity of Makcik Nasilemak and Uber Drivers that we are cheaper compare to normal teksi drivers, eventho there are many many teksi drivers waiting queuing outside the Traders hotel just now. Luckily I got ping 9.58pm from TRC at the same Publika. But I just drive a bit front to see the bugger face. I can see he is coming towards my car with his bf. But I just speed up away. Kannina.

Later at the dropoff, I show him the fare which shocked him a little due to the outstanding fare from his previous trip. He cancelled it after 5 minutes order due to the misunderstanding.

3.15pm, FAR and her gf at Pandan Court Condo sending to Agro Bank Ampang Point. She instructs me to drive fast fast and need to go to the bank before it closed today. So the Kelantan girl shows me all the shortcuts through Bandar Baru Ampang.

8.10am, FAI at Kip Hotel Jalan Kuching sending to Pudu Sentral. The big guy is a photographer from Singapore but he wants to balik kampung at Sungai Besar. I thought at first he was given a wrong info that the Pudu Sentral still got bus express terminal. But he shows me the bus ticket and I believe him. Later we talk and talk about teksi issues in Singapore and here, and a bit of his freelance job as a paintball photographer etc. He really pissed off with the previous myteksi driver who tries to cheat him as he was waiting for the ride since 7am. The JP Jilake told him that he was stuck in a traffic jam but later show up for other passenger! Then FAI asked the hotel bellboy to call Uber and got me as his driver. Later at Pudu Sentral dropoff point, he gives me a big note of rm50 and asks me to keep the change! Wah lah weh.

This morning uncle need to rush driving in the morning bcoz wife already warning want to go to buy shopping groceries in the afternoon.

Starts the car engine and apps at 6.56am. Then got 2 pings from XIN and YEH at the same Jalan Bunga Daisi 5. Remember my dairy, last night where my last trip I drop this boy at Jalan Bunga Daisi 6? Both of them cannot wait for 11min from where I am. Lajiao la.

7.04am, ROMEO SINGH at Jalan Beringin 18. 2 boys going to Larkin Sentral. When arrive there is a heavy rain, I send them to the lobby but the canopy is not big enough, sure they got wet. Then suddenly this brother ulat comes near them asking to buy tickets. Then he takes out his ipad from his sling bag to check for the online tickets. Aiyah, nowadays ulats also follow the latest technology meh?

7.51am, boss AMN at Larkin Sentral sending to TNB Jalan Yahya Awal. Before pickup, I wonder why drivers giving this boss 4.5 star rating only.

8.07am, JOG at Jalan Abdul Rahman Andak with umbrella and the heavy rains still coming, he is going to church at Jalan Mahmoodiah. This Singh bro is quite friendly and we talk and talk. He so excited telling the badminton match last night. I am not interested. Later he told me he is Christian Sikh.

Later he asks where the bus ticket counters are located.

Dear diary, actually I got 4 non stop Uber jobs continuosly. Then at the end I decide to turn off the Uber apps bcoz I want to go home. And I let the Grabcar apps on to see whether I can get nearby job only.

9.21am, IEW amoi at Jalan Suria 3 going to JB City Square. To get to her house also quite challenging. In the cab, she asks me to drive fast fast, but I tell her that my car cannot fly fly. She giggles only. But hours after dropoff later I find out that my Grabcar rating is dropping to 4.0, which means she give me 1 star meh! Charcheebye.

10am already I need to go home, need to send wife to Tesco this noon.

And this evening my dear diary, uncle will try Grabhitch from JB to KL. We'll see lah.

I call Grab service center 3 times, finally got the Grabcar apps running on my Sony Xperia smartphone. Yay!

Dear diary, during this time, I got few pings from far far away 10-13min, but the riders cancel. Good lah.

10.16am, YAN at Jalan Bunga Raya Besar Kampung Dato Sulaiman Menteri. To get to her pickup location is quite challenging bcoz of the narrow streets and houses like "sting garden". Aiyah. Although the destination is near, but she pays double for the fare. When asks, the good looking girl says, "she already tried half an hour to get the Uber drivers." I send her to nearby Giant Xtra Taman Suria.

He dislikes teksi driver who keep the 50 sen balance. "I am just a student uncle, waiting for tuition allowance now," he says sadly. When arrive, I shock also to see his fare is 1.8x surging. So pity but he pays it. Good boy.

8.42am, JAS at 9 Bukit Utama. I follow the Waze to First Avenue. When almost arrive, she screams and shouts bcoz I overshoot which not First Avenue. Charcheebye. Dear diary, next time I should just drive to the pin location. Stopping in the middle of busy road is so dangerous.

Got ping 8.50am, NAJ at Pelangi Damansara Blok E. I miss the turn and need to drive further up and uturn. I call her to inform the delay of 5min and ask her can wait or not. She says "okay." Then when arrive in 3min, she cancels. Bugima. I call her asking why cancel. She says, "just now uncle say wrong turn." Aiyah, kan she told me ok and she can wait.

10.15am, I need to turn on Uber again since Grabcar no ping for 15min. RAY ping from Masjid Kota Damansara that confused me. I call him actually his home is further on the other way on Jalan Kenyalang. On the cab, we talk and talk and he keep blaming the teksi kroni who gets the money for nothing. I send him to Imigresen at KDN Jalan Duta.

10.15am, NAB ping to pickup her emak at Intan Apartment. Then her emak when inside the cab asks to pickup her friend together going to Surau Bukit Mulia at Bukit Antarabangsa. The golden girls are attending the religious class this morning.

I got ping at 6.42pm from ALC at Jalan Wawasan 3. When arrive, nor rider show, but I wait for a while. Then suddenly daughter calling, she forgot to bring the house key and left it inside. Aiyah! So uncle cancel the booking and go straight home.

7.49pm, QLA at Owlery Cafe with her bf. I send them to Seri Ritchie, a luxury townhouse hidden behind the Lorong Ritchie.

8.25pm, ESM at Vista Damai Condo going to Sucasa. The Libya guy likes to talk too even the trip is too short, not even 7 min. I told him, "Muammar Gadafi was a bad person, but now your country is worse." He agrees, "now we fight each other, no police nobody control the country." Later during dropoff he gives me rm1 tip.

8.37pm, EMN at Wisma Central wants to go to Linton University College in Mantin Negeri Sembilan. Wah lah weh. So far, I need to think for a while and I accept. For sure no rider when I come back from that far far away jungle. When inside the car, this time I ask him. He is from Zimbabwe. I say, "good country." Then he sadly says, "yeah, but the government is dictator very bad." I told him that corruption is everywhere in the world. But he replies, "here also corrupt but the country is developed, but not Zimbabwe, he keeps the money to himself." Then we talk and talk until Nilai exit from Plus highway. Then suddenly after Nilai toll plaza, further up, there is a police roadblock. While the first police on my right side let me go after checking my driving license only, but the other police (with luminated vest) who is holding EMN passport ask me to pull over to the side. Then he makes an issue asking about the trip, although EMN's passport is in order. I told him I drive EMN from KLCC office to his college. That young police try to sita my car, saying driving passenger without PSV is illegal. "Your luck is good, that negro's passport still alive, what happen if it's expired already? If passport dead, I need to take your car and the story will be long! All teksi drivers here in Nilai got PSV license!" He tries to scare me. I told him, its not mandatory yet to have PSV license. Lajiao lah.

After dropoff, I drive straight home. I know it's a long journey, about 1 hour. Then unexpectedly, I turn to a wrong exit towards Seremban instead to KL. Kannina. Then I need to uturn at Seremban Labu exit and give extra donation rm7.20 to Plus highway. Good lah. It's a frustrated night.

8.30am, HRO-san at Suasana Sentral Loft. I speak nihongo to him. He was quite shocked, "hajimete, first time I meet a Grabcar driver can speak nihongo." I am delighted, but I told him my nihongo is rusted now. "Ie, Warukunai," he says. I send him to UN Refugee center at Bukit Petaling.

9.07am, MAR at 6 Ceylon. I arrive early at the lobby, I see 2 Grabcar/Uber drivers before me coming and the passengers get into the car very fast. So, I wonder what happen to MAR taking so long? Almost 7min, then MAR comes cripply with his stretches under his armpits. Uncle so pity. Uncle open the door for him. I send him to LRT Bangsar. But before arriving Jalan Maarof the traffic is building up, and the worst thing when the uturn is closed, I need to drive further up and make a uturn. Then when we arrive back thru the traffic jam after 5min at the same junction, the uturn blockage is open. Lanjiao la traffic police!

9.28am, VAM at Brickfields sending to Pullman Hotel which pointing to the wrong place. Luckily he uses Uber.

10.08am, SAS at nearby Leaderonomics Phileo Damansara 1 shouting at me and later send him and his colleague to Menara Citibank Jalan Ampang. They discuss about business all the way.

11.01am, JOZ at Myanmar Embassy Jalan Ampang Hiliran with his gf going to Hotel Pudu Plaza.

11.26am, MAS at the same Hotel Pudu Plaza sending to Jalan Pandan Cahaya. We talk and talk. He story mory about his real experience as a refugee and being smuggled here. He tells vividly on how he being squashed under the backseat of the car with 2 other refugees fleeing from Myanmar to Malaysia thru Thailand. "6 to 7 hours cannot move our muscle becomes cramps, no drinking," he says. "You know how we hide in the jungle like in the news recently?" Uncle hears also feel so pity.

From the conversation, the ladies speaking Utagha naa. Later I joke joke to the Pakistani husband, "if you not marry yet, you need to wear the seatbelt." He asks, "why if not marry need to seatbelt?" The ladies laughing at the back. At KPJ Damansara hospital, the Pakistani husband wants to go to LRT Kelana Jaya. Then we talk and talk about polygamy, arranged marriage and mahram and comparing Islamic practice between Pakistan and here.

But she doesnt like Indian food, too spicy and doesnt like curry smell. Then I ask her about her boyfriend here. After dropoff them at TBS, without waiting as usual, I driving out of the bus terminal going to MRR2 when this bugger ping from TBS. Aiyah, got rm27 job I already far far away! I accept the booking but 1 min later he cancelled. Lajiao lah. My diary, lesson learned, next time need to wait for at least 5 minutes at the TBS. Then I driving to Masjid alBukhary for clean up the trash only.

And when asked, he came from Lanchap, Perak. "Lanchap la uncle tau Anson tak?" he say. Later I will check whether got town called "Lanchap" or not.

After dropoff, PRINCE a negro ping and call asking "what time?" I say cannot see the apps bcoz using it. Kannina. Later I see to pickup is 6km away about 10 min and he wants to go to Mydin USJ for rm3. So I cancel lah, but I text him, "sorry cancel too far."

Then uncle feel there is no trip going to KLCC, and I drive home sweet home. Call it a day for today.

7.28am, starts the Grabcar apps by the KLCC roadside. Eat tapau mee hoon.

7.38am, VEE at Raja Chulan Hotel going to KLIA2. When arriving the hb open the front door asking the fare. Dear sweet diary, I have been tricked again. Lesson learned. Feel cheated.

9.39am, camp at Jabatan Imigresen Putrajaya.
10.03am, NDR at nearby Jabatan Imigresen with his grand-dad going to Setapak Garden. The Yaman boy asking the nearby money changer on the way. I suggest the Ampang Park, but after google, he wants to go to Festival Mall, but later he changes his mind.

Camp at nearby Setapak shoplots and shortnap to recharge.

11.15am, NJB at Setapak Garden sending to Maju Junction. We talk and talk about his experience on "insolvensi" and "bankcrupty" issue.

11.37am, AZM at KTM Putra going to SK Segambut. When asked, his dad working with LHDN and now still renting the house.

11.57am, RNY at The Capers which he never put the correct condo. I shout to him and he shout to me also. Later he asks me to deliver 3 Sudanese uncles to Templer Park Falls which is far far away in Rawang jungle. Kannina. Later they asking when the time of Friday prayer started which I dont see any point as they will roaming around the park by that afternoon.



After dropping the 3 Sudan uncles, PRT ping me play play at Jalan Templer Heritage wants to KLIA2 which I accept. But later the lajiao cancel. Kannina. But looking at the fare (rm65) and comparing to the distance from Templer Park to KLIA2 (81km) which I think is not worth it. Good lah he cancelled.

Later, I found the Friday prayer at nearby Masjid Kraf.

When I ask whether to use the Waze, he says, "perfect!" Then we talk a bit about the traffic jam. He says, "traffic jam in KL is much much much better than in India! Especially in Bangalore where I came from." But I told him that people here still complaining about it everyday. Kannina.

8.37pm, SHZ at Wolo Bukit Bintang going to Petaling Street. The Singapore guy and me talk and talk. He just visited KL 3 days 2 night and never seen Petronas Twin Towers yet which is near to his hotel. Even he asks me about Menara KL Tower. He is working as hospital nurse and complains about some patients who are demanding a lot especially the low level ones. "I not bedek," he says. Then when I ask him whether I can send him to the airport tomorrow, he says he already bought KLIA express train return tickets. Kannina.
