6.39am, INT a Malay girl at Pangsapuri Kristal Ampang, going to Bus Station Pekeliling. At the bus station, after dropping her, it's hard to get out for the terminal since all ways are blocked by the buses. But soon, one of the buses gave way to me.
7.11am, NOR a Malay ahkak at Titiwangsa Sentral Condom going to Dataran Maybank Jalan Maarof Taman Bangsar. At the midway, we then talked and talked. She's been here (KL) for 7 years, bought a house and will retired next year at the age of 60. She used to work in JB and her husband was a retired government staff. She got 2 grownup daughters and that's the reason she bought the condom house.

9.19pm, HLH 3 arab ladies at KLCC Isetan entrance. Due to bad traffic new Petronas towers I asked them to walk to the Coach entrance which they didnt know. I asked them to stay put at Isetan. I sent the big size girls to Ampang Putra Residency. Even the Block A lobby is just stone-throw-away distance from the guard house, they insisted me to send them inside. Panda lela lah. "I'll give 5 stars," she said.
At 9.53pm, ABD ping me from 7-eleven One Ampang Avenue. But when arrived at the convenience store, he called, "saya kat 7-eleven Spectrum mall." Demm. He put the wrong location. Later he cancelled.

Morning no fish.
About 10.45am this morning in the office, I started to turn on MyCar and Dacsee apps. Just for a test.
11.14am, AERINA SYAFIA ping me far far away from 4.52km (7min) which I ignored her. Then I switched the MyCar apps off.
I let the Dacsee apps still on ... no ping even after I woke up from noon nap at 1.33pm, even at 3pm.

8.05pm, AID a Malay guy at Mercu 3 (Menara DBKL) Jalan Bangsar. I sent the broken leg man to Gate 1 @ Sri Penara Apartment, Bandar Sri Permaisuri Cheras.
Then, I drove straight to TBS.
8.36pm, SHA at TBS Pintu B. Actually his ping is at ERL Bandar Tasik Selatan, KLIA Transit. Luckily he messaged me first. I sent the pinoy guy who can speak Malay fluently to Residensi PandanMas Lorong Delapan, Kampung Pandan. Actually he's residing in Sabah bah.
8.59pm, MM an Arab guy at Ampang Putra Residency going to nearby Dataran Palma. He texted me to tell that he got some luggange. I asked him, how many person? He said only two, but if the luggages already occupied the space inside the cab, maybe only he himself will be going. But I see there are only 2 big baggages and few luggages. So his fat little brother can fit in. At the dropoff, after paying the fare, I said shukran, and he replied "afwan." I said afwan again, and he was surprised, "you can speak Arabic ha?"
I waited for a while at Ampang Point parking lot for half an hour. Then go home.

7.49pm, ALS a Bangla man at Klinik An-nur Jalan Rambai Jaya sending to far far away Jalan Siantan 2/1 Melaka Tengah, near Tengkera. When almost approaching his destination, we had a little argument on the route. But instead, I just follow his direction as matching the Waze. At the dropoff, he's asking a rm1 discount on the fare, but I refused. Then he's slowly taking out his wallet and getting the money and making me a bit upset and asking him to pay faster because I was in a hurry.

I entered the Landside waiting area, but ironically no message on my apps. Later I asked one of the Grab chinese guy on a Alza, he told me to call the CS which I did. But still no message or notifications on the apps. (Note: now Grab no more sending sms messages, only notification on the apps itself.)
After almost one hour, I left the Landside and drove to Dengkil cowboy town. Strangely enough, I got sms messages saying that I'm no more inside the waiting area for KLIA jobs. Fook yew lah Grab!

4.31pm, after dropping the previous riders at Corus hotel, EMMY MASTURA ping me from Suria KLCC Jalan Ampang entrance. As I reckoned that the traffic wasbad WORST and standstill around the Petronas towers, I accepted her ping as the fare was quite high, ie rm71 for 24km to Kota Damansara. As I approached the Klcc entrance from Jalan Yap Kwan seng, she called me to stay where I was and no need to go inside the towers lobby, as she noticed that it would take forever for me to go inside. “Uncle tungu situ nanti saya datang. Saya boleh nampak kereta uncle dari dalam apps ni,” she said in fluent Malay. Soon I saw a bunch of international atudents running towards my cab. And she doesn’t look like a Malay, her appearance more towards to Chinese lady with free hair and wearing skirt. She sat next to me.

Got ping from SIR at 6.47am. The pickup location is at Jalan 6c/11 and when I accepted it and drove to him, 2 minutes later he cancelled. Pandalelalah. Yo wes. Then ironically he ping again three times, I just ignored it because he's going to Kajang. I reckoned that no Mycar driver is around the area this morning. Or maybe mycar fare is so cheaput?
6.51am, MIS a Malay lady nurse at her house at Jalan 8/5 Seksyen 8 going to Hospital Serdang. The google maps directed me to the closed gates. Soon she messaged me to use the surau al amin entrance.

This guy is quiet shy and not much talking so I need to break the ice. He said he just arrived from JB (Larking) and departed at 1.30pm. That's mean, the bus took him 7 hours travelling to KL due to traffic jam and stopped at Terminal One Seremban. Then we talked and talked as I was the one who mainly asking him because he's quiet engrossed with his phone. He's studying at UiTM near to Tasik Biru Masai. His dad was a soldier and now retired and his mom is still working at Texas Instrumentation factory. He got 2 siblings as he's the eldest.

While still on the way to the stadium, one of the kids, who were sitting at the backseat was vomiting but the lady got time to give him a plastic bag. Phew, otherwise I need to send to the carwash again for that reason. So I turned off the dvd before reaching the dropoff point.
9.30am, SHM 5 Banglas at Shine Shine carwash Jalan SS 6/12 PJ going to The Starling Jalan SS 21/37 Uptown PJ Damansara Utama. I was entering too early to the officelots.

When arrived at the lrt station, I stopped at the bus stop earlier from where she waited. Later she hopped in and I apologised because I was late (15min) due to the bad traffic. She said, okay. "Wah, keleta toyota besah saya naik petama kali!" she sounded surprised. She said she's working in Bangsar and seldom taking Grab. "Tapi parking manyak mahal lah Bangsar, lu tahu kah uncle, satu hali baya lebih dua polo lingit ho! Satu jam sudah dua lingit," she storied. On the way to her apartment, Google maps showed the new route which was a bit further than her normal road and drove around few junctions and traffic lights. I said no worries and maybe next time she could tell other driver to use shortcut. But she told me, "itu hali ada drebar sudah bising cakap ikot jalan saya manyak jauh, drebat cakap dia lugi." At the dropoff, the fare was rm10 (normally rm6 she said) and she gave me rm1 notes. I said again no worries and I put the money to the compartment. "Uncle kila ha, tak mau lu lugi," she said before leaving the cab.

The girl who sat next to me tried to connect her iphone thru the bluetooh on the car, but we're not able to do it. Then later I successfully connected her iphone thru the direct cable. She turned up the volume herself to max but I turned it down a little bit. I sent them to Thean Hou Temple Persiaran Endah, Taman Desa. Later the other girl paying me the fare, and she asked for the receipt which I told her that Grab will send the receipt to MOA, the guy who booked for them. She looked frustrated.

Actually the house is on Tanah Lot but her house with no concrete tembok fence unlike the surrounded elegant neighbor homes. I saw her aged dad on the wheelchair in the house and the aged mom busy talking to her while the Arab hubby also busy uploading all the bagages and boxes to the cab and big stroller. This Arab man can speak little Malay and while on the cab, they were just talking in English and few Malay words.

Not wanting me to wait for the wet carpet to dry, he (the Indian leader) asked me to take away those carpets and dry them at home.

Thanks.” So, later when he's inside the cab, he told me that he couldn’t get any Grab since 7.30am.” Hopefully we can reach the bus terminal in time as the Waze showed me the eta was 29 minutes. After work, 6.36pm the first ping, while I was on the Damansara Link, from ROY at Atria Shopping Gallery going to far far away Sunway Velocity Pudu. The chinese young man with red shirt sitting next to me. Not much talking, even he slept with loud snore for a while. The traffic was bad due to rains and rush hour. But later we talked too. He said he doesn’t like to drive thru traffic jam as he’s busy with his smartphone.
7.54pm, KEN at nearby NSK Trade City Jalan Peel. It was heavy rains and he bought and brought so many groceries in plastic bags inside a trolley. There were 2 cars and a van were already parked on the lobby. So he loaded the groceries under the rains. A bangla staff was helping him. I was holding an umbrella. KEN like to talk too even his Malay is like other ordinary Chinese Malaysians. He's single and bachelor, working in a drink section in the foodcourt. We talk about money and amoi and Grab fare. "Amoi always wants money. No money no honey," he said referring to relationship as he doesn’t have girlfriends. "I used to hear my mom always shouting at my dad about money when I was little boy," he continued. Normally he paid Grab only rm16 instead of rm20. I told him that it's due to rush hour and heavy rains. Not many drivers now, I told him. At the dropoff at Public Bank Pandan Indah while it's still raining, he uploaded all the groceries. Before that, while he's trying to get the rm20 for the fare, I saw he got bundles of rm50 notes on his jeans pocket. maybe ten thousand on his lousy pants. Aiyah.
9.37pm, ZZZ a Malay family, with 3 kids at LRT BTS while I was on MRR2. He told me that they're just arrived from Kuala Terengganu by bus and trying to catch the commuter. But nowadays the commuter needed a Touch n Go card to be used to pay for a ticket. He left his card in his car. So he book the Grab. I turned on the movie for the kids. Then suddenly the little girl puked on my cab. Kannina. But I didnt freak out. I stopped at the rest area and we cleaned up the carpets.

This morning (Wed, 5/12) I bypassed the infamous riot temple with many FRU personnels and vehicles and polices are guarding around the area. Yep, the temple is very near to the pickup location I used to drive last night where the lady and her son were freaking out!
But no rider I picked up this morning eventhough I already set up MyDestination to work. Yo wes!
Today's afternoon, there's a lunch at the office. Kambing bakar, nasi beriani and a lot of durians!
After office hour, and I setup MD to HOME at 6.34pm. It's raining cats & dogs.
My AR is 70%, PR 4.91 and CR 0%.
6.47pm, SHA at nearby Space U8 lobby with her bf, an Indian girl alone hopped into my cab. She's going to Asia Jaya LRT (KJ21) PJ. When she's inside the cab, she asked me the duration to the lrt station. I told her, according to Waze and Google maps, both showing 29minutes. She told me to drive faster. Aiyah, I told her that I couldnt fly lah, but politely I said I would try my best since it's heavily raining too. I drove through the infamous Federal highway.
7.40pm, AMT a Malay chubby lady, at nearby TNB Jalan Timur PJ which was on my back and I needed to drive one big round to get her. She's going to Bayu Tasik 2 Condom. She liked to talk with her soft voice. So sad I dont like the way she spoke. I dont feel like it. She asked me few questions intermitently, ie part time or full time etc. She told me that yesterday also she took a Grab that took her 2 hours to get home. Today according to Waze, and normally it would take about 27 minutes instead.

6.56pm, while driving on the ELITE highway, LEC a local Chinese couple with a son ping me from Agenda Suria Convention Center. Actually they're waiting at the Mufors (Malaysia United for Road Safety) stopover. They're going to Aseana Puteri Condom, Puchong. When they're inside the cab, I could smell the "minyak kapak" from the boy. The road on the Puchong highway was quite heavy. Even the lady was panic and paranoid and told me try to use other route due the temple riot police blockage. She kept mentioned about One City and Main Place malls. I told her that the riot issue was last week and it's at Taipan PJ which is far far away from our route. Aiyah! Later at the condom lobby, they're trying to pay me the exact rm21.10 (include the toll fare), but I told them to keep the 10 sen. I told them to give me a 5 star and they laughed only.
Today, I only got 3 trips. Two jobs in the morning, and the other one after the office hour.
Dear diary. Just a note. In the new office which I just started working since yesterday, I found out that there is a lady who pump her breast milk. I didnt see the breast, but I heard a quite loud vibrated sound of the pump motor from her desk. It may not strange for others, but it's the first time I heard it.

Although I already got a deskjob, I decided to drive Grab because my salary is very very low. OTL ... At least the grab fare could compensate with cik Jnulekasnova's fuel high consumption.
My personal rating is going down at 4.92. Yesterday's rating was at the highest (4.95).
I set MyDestination to the office in Bukit Jelutong.

At kedai mamak BIFC, after having breakfast and after ignoring few cheapo pings...
6.54am, PAT at Permai Court 1 going to Pasar Seni. PAT a pinoy lady with a Bangla waiting just outside the apartment, at the main entrance. In the cab, they’re asking whether I could send them to Bukit Broga. I said no problem and checking the fare was rm84. They agreed.
So I need to pickup their 4 other friends, a pinoy ladies, at the Central Market.
While driving to the hill, I reckoned that the fare was for the economy grab. So hastily I checked again the fare fur the 6-seater which was rm134. They didnt seem arguing about the new fare because they're very excited to do the hiking activity and in a very joyful mood. “What to do? We’re in the car already,” she said. And she already calmed me down.
While on the trip, I only talking to the Bangla while the other pinoy ladies at the backseat are talking to themselves.
NAZ, the bangla told me that his working permit is just being approved. So he’s now one happy Bangla. "I'm out of my cave already!" he said. Otherwise he would rather stay in the kongsi. He’s working in a furniture shop and doing kitchen cabinet etc. He just paid rm7k to get the permit for the first time. Every year he needs to pay rm3k to renew it. Its quite expensive, I told him. He said, if he's doing good with his job, his taukeh would pay half of the working permit in the future.
While on the trip also, the ladies gave us some sweets and I took one. But instead of peeling it off, I put the sweets aside. And NAZ told me that in his country, Bangladesh of course, he never trusted anybody giving him sweets as it may contains something harmful and vulnerable for a bad guy to rob or molest the driver.
Then later also I asked them on how they’re going back to the city center. After discussion, they were asking whether I could wait for them while they’re hiking up the hill. Since she said they might be going down after 12 noon, I opted them to call my driver friends around. They’ve agreed.
So I posted the open job in the whatsapp group.
A few minutes later, a bro, AZW pm me and wanted to pick them up from Broga hills. He agreed with the fare I mentioned and willing to come down from kl. But I told him to call the Bangla first. So he did.
Unfortunately however, at 11am, he told me that they’re already left the hills and were somewhere else. Panda lela lah.
Dear diary, I couldnt wait for them because I need to run errand to Colmar Bukit Tinggi Betong.

7.47pm, MOR at Sunway Palazzio Sri Hartamas ping me to go to 121 Jalan Ampang. MOR and his young and sexy lady in a black hopped in. Actually they wanted to go to W Kuala Lumpur hotel which they couldnt find it in the Grab apps, just like yesterday's Swedish girl. Dont you remember dear diary?
Only 2 pax for a 6-seater fare. She told me that it's hard to find a standard economy grab just now. That's the reason they chose the 6-seater. I dont mind as long as they're willing to pay the fare. 12km for rm48 - just my lucky day.
Then we talked and talked all the way.
MOR said a few basic Malay words, ie "turun" and "sama-sama" as he know some Bahasa Indon. Then I thought the lady was a pinoy or an Indon, but my guess were wrong. Actually, she came from Mumbai. Ah, I said, Bombay... and Sharukh Khan. They laughed together.
MOR is a dutch and we talked a bit about Netherlands as I was visiting the country for a short trip. Then we talked about the red light district and marijuana. He said that many dutch people are more likely to die due to the alcohol than marijuana. I told him on how to solve the alcohol problem is to convert to Islam. Then we debated a little about the religion and alcoholism as he once been to Indon for a period of time and saw many Indon people regarded alcohol as non prohibited. I told him that those people are not good Muslim as the Quran said and prohibited alcohol even for a sip. I didnt tell him even in Bible also mention about alcohol prohibition!

"They question thee about strong drinks and games of chance. Say: In both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness."

11.21am, LIS a meksalleh girl at Menara TM going to Mandarin Oriental KLCC (this is what she typed in the apps). Once she got in the cab, she told me that the hotel was wrong as she couldnt find the "W" Kuala Lumpur hotel in the Grab apps, not "Double U" hotel ye. But I found the hotel on the Waze. As both hotels near to KLCC, I told her not to worry about the fare differences. Later we talked and talked all the way to the city center.
She's a Swedish, but have been working in Hong Kong for the last 3 years. She's here to attend a seminar with the telecommunication company (TM). He told me that he's working as a penebar roti canai in a restaurant for Bangla people in Wangsa Maju. His income is RM65 perday which would became rm1900 permonth."Sometimes I can get rm2000," proudly he said. Wahlaweh. He's working for 12 hours per day, and got a lunch break for one hour, then he also "uli" the tepung for the roti canai in the evening.

Once she got in the cab, she told me that the hotel was wrong as she couldnt find the "W" Kuala Lumpur hotel in the Grab apps, not "Double U" hotel ye. But I found the hotel on the Waze. As both hotels near to KLCC, I told her not to worry about the fare differences. Later we talked and talked all the way to the city center.

10.09am, ASG a Malay lady with her little girl at Goodyear Court 2 Apartment USJ going to TBS. She texted me to pickup at block S “which bnyk motor parking tu.” When she hopped in the cab, suddenly she asked me about what happened to the kuil Sri Maha Mariamman, Subang Jaya demonstration. I was quite shock. I told her that I didnt follow the current national news. And I didnt notice on any of my whatsapp group. But I did remember yesterday when I picked up these two Malay guys from Suria KLCC. One of the guys was glued to his smartphone and reading about "bomba kena tarik dari trak bomba". Since I dont entertain her, she just kept quiet all the way to TBS. Even I need to help to buckle up her daughter who sat infront next to me.
Another bonus story today.
4.18pm, ADR an Indian guy at Nadia Parkfront Condom going to Villa Puteri Condom Jln Tun Ismail. He liked to talk and talk all the way. First we know that we are on the same age, just that he's older one month than me. He got his lawyer degree but never practiced it. He used to work as a property agent. But due to most banks not giving any new loans to the subsale property, then he quit. "Cannot cari makan," he said. Then he's trying drive Grab, but "it's not worth it," because he's renting the car from the Grab company. Now he's working with PPIM, Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia, which I heard it for the first time. He said, he's the only non-muslim (with the other chinese guy) who work in the islamic club (organisation) since his friend (Datok) asked him to join as he's jobless during that time. So I asked him a lot of questions on PPIM. He said there were many cases. Even the navy boy who was tortured and killed during the training was also under his testimony versus navy. He refer this case to the "a few good men" movie starring Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, Demi Moore and Kevin Bacon. Currently also, he told me that he's involved with the case of a young boy in Kedah versus TNB. During the dropoff, he gave me his phone number just incase I need to use his service in the future.
Dear diary, today I completed 15 jobs and my personal rating going up to 4.91 for the first time. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

One Justgrab story this morning.
8.04am, NEM a chubby Malay girl alone with 2 luggages and was sendoff by her little brother at Urbana Residences Ara Damansara going to far far away Astro Taman Teknologi. Not much talking until at the end when I approached the Astro main gate... When I was driving to the back of the Astro building of the Visitor entrance via the Shell, she screamed at me saying that the route was incorrect and asked me to drive straight and uturn back. I thought she wanted me to drive her to the other side which confused me as I believe there was no other Astro building. But since she’s so adamant, so I followed her request. Then I realised she asked to drive all the way back to Bukit Jalil by using the back road which would take another 4.7km. Aiyah. As I reckon that she’s going to the same visitor entrance at the back, so exited to the Plus highway and soon later entering the shell sration and straight to the gate. Actually I followed the Waze but why she worries so much? And to add salt to the wound, she never apologised for her ignorance. OTL
Apparently, the van was waiting for her. This is really one nuisance job.

5.14pm, after Asar, NOH a Malay young man at VCR Jalan Galloway Bukit Bintang going to Desa Gembira Condom. We talked and talked all the way. He’s working in a kopitiam in Kuantan. He came to KL with his boss today to have a meeting with a competition committee on Barista Contest 2019. He said he likes his job and has been working there for 2 years already.
Then we talked a bit of current politic issues, such as ICERDS and also his unfinished diploma study.
Now I know the differences between Barista and Bartender.

9.55pm, after I cancelled the first cheapo Justgrab (rm10) at TBS, STL a chinese man ping me at Taxi & Town Bus station, not the infamous Gate C main lobby due to bad traffic. I arrived at the KLIA Transit but actually he’s waiting under the TBS building. Then he agreed to walk to my cab.
He’s going home at Bukit Pandan 2 Condom, Pandan Perdana.
He told me that he’s trying to book and haggle with the teksi driver just now. The driver isn’t using the meter, instead he’s asking for rm30. The Grab fare is only rm15. He’s upset because the driver not trying to use the meter.
Then we’re talking about his job as a travel agent. He said travel industry also need to compete with Air Asia. No middle man required now.

The guy who sat next to me got a very huge Samsung smartphone but smaller than a tab. After a while he tried to put the phone in his pant’s pocket but obviously it couldn’t fit in.
Today I managed completing only 6 jobs.
After sending off 6 Rohingya guys whom apparently came from a nearby mosque after solat Jumaat to Bandar Puncak Utama, Serdang, I drove straight to JB.

8.37am, under the heavy rains, MAMAT an Indon guy at Sri Begonia Apartment busstop. Actually he and his brother just finished their breakfast at the nearby kedai mamak. He came to the cab first but need to wait for his brother to pay the bill first. The brother seems an ignorant guy as he’s wearing a big headset on his head.
Later I sent them to far far away Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad TTDI. Their friend told them to find for Kedai Ayamas which we found it.
Another note. My personal rating is suddenly going up to 4.88 after many many weeks as it’s under 4.7 something.

6.41am, the first job, SEL 5 Afghan family members at Chancellor Condom going to UNHCR. Since today is a public holiday, I told them that the refugee camp might be closed. I got the bad experience last time and I dont want them to waste and money. The parents seem cannot speak English nor Malay. But the girl told me that they still insisted to go. Okay lah. When arrived, we saw there were many people at the wntrance gate. So I was wrong this time. Next time I need to remind myself not to interrupt with other people business.
Other note. This morning after a couple of trips, I could smell dog shit inside my cab. Then later I reckon that there’s a shit under my left shoe. Demm. So after cleaned it up, I bought ambur perfume and glade spray air fresher from Petronas Pekan Sungai Besi.

4.43pm, JOS alone at Menara KLK Mutiara Damansara near Ikea Damansara going to Bangsar Village. The Indian guy likes to hear the old song from my radio. I dont remember the song's name. Then suddenly he's talking about Guns and Roses concert last week. "I got a free tickets but it's disappointing," he told me in Malay. "Axl Rose (the lead singer) not very energetic as expected." Then he talked and talked about his previous concerts that he attended in KL and Singapore of Metallica, Iron Maidens etc. Apparently he's working as a reporter. No wonder lah he got a free ticket.
Once, he said, during Rafidah Aziz (the minister) term. He's got to fly to Berlin with her urgently. "Even now we're still in contact," he said.
He’s also telling about his okd Malay schoolmate who he’s met and still remember during their “good old days” while on high taking syabu (gumm), “ko la keling yang paling aku suka!” He’s laughing out loud.
Later on Jalan Maarof, "that alfa romeo is nice car," referrring to the white car travelling on opposite direction. I told him that everybody likes to have beautiful car, beautiful house, and beautiful wife. Then he story mory a bit about his girlfriend's parents. Since he's still bachelor but living with his girlfriend (ex-reporter). "My friends told me how lucky I am to have a nice looking wife," I can feel his proudness, "of course lah, dia anak datok mah!" But the father doesnt like him, not like the mom.
Another note. Today a blog reader called me and asked me if I can get a driver from JB to Singapore. His friend wanted to bring his family for a day tour in Singapore.

After sending off Via’s family at KLIA2, I started “membangau” at Landside. 8.40am with GC queue at 1201-1300 (ETA 300 min) and GC 6s at 601-700 (ETA 300 min). After more than 2 hours, I cannot tahan to wait there. So I drove out to Kota Warisan hoping I would get any trip.
I am “membangau” at train station Kota Warisan. Waited for one hour with no ping. Then I drove to nearby Masjid Kota Warisan until after zohor prayer. Still no ping!
Even I went to Xiamen University maingate. I saw many drivers already waiting there.
So I drove to kedai mamak at Kota Warisan new shoplots next to the the highway. After lunch (maggie goreng mamk and ice lemon tea), I went to the toilet where I got ping. Aiyah. The phone is inside my pocket lah. No rejeki.
So I drove to masjid bandar Dengkil. 3.33pm already. By 4.00pm I am at Alamanda shopping mall.
Then my first real Grab job at 4.27pm, ISM 4 Bangla with an Indon lady waiting at traffic light Presint 16 while I went to the Petronas surau to pee and pray. I sent them to UniPark Condom. But some of them, including the Indon lady stopped at the nearby roundabout.

After dropping off VIA trip just now, I got a very high fare from The Robertson Residence Pudu going to far far away MAHSA University at Bandar Saujana Putera. This trip was completed nicely and no issue until I got another trip from One South. One of the India boys found a key with a parking gate pass on the backseat. It’s shown “The Robertson “ on it. Since I dont have the rider contact number so I just kept quiet. Its very scary too because this issue may cause my account deactivated. Later the amoi called me and willing to pay extra fare for returning the key. Due to ignorance on their side, masking phone number, finally after one hour I managed to give her back the key. That’s after a couple times calling the Grab CS. She gave me extra rm30 and said "sorry sorry sorry" many many times for the trouble. But my heart is already broken.

After sending off ahkakAF at TBS main lobby, I driving around Gate C (TBS) hoping of getting any rider. Just after leaving the gate C and driving down the ramp, REKHA ping me. Aiyah. So I need to drive one more round to the main lobby Gate C. But a minute later, she cancelled. Panda lela lah. But it's okay. I hope I will get bigger fish.
3.46pm, 3 minutes later while parking at the roadside with other drivers (Grab or others?), an
iPhone" user ping me to pick up a Pakistani worker group at Basement Parking TBS near the taxi stand. Actually, instead of 4, only 3 Pakistan workers who cannot speak English nor Malay catched my cab. Their belongings of only 2 baggages and 2 small bags. All of them (3) are sitting behind me. Due to language barrier, the colleague who was waiting near Xiamen University construction site told me just to follow the given location. Yes, I follow it to the university main gate. The fare was very high because of the 6-seater fare. But nobody complain.
When arriving at the dropoff location, and waiting for few minutes, the colleague hopped in the cab and showed me the way to construction site at the back of the university.

10.59am, ALL a Malay young guy at Jalan 18/62a, Taman Sei Serdang ping me to send his coworker to Mapletree Shah Alam. The Indian young man who apparently just arrived from India and couldnt speak Malay or English. ALL wanted to pay me first. The fare was rm49 for 27km. I told him that the toll fare may be under rm5. So he gave me rm50 note and I returned the balance of rm6. He dont want me to give the fare balance to the Indian young man.
At the dropoff location of Mapletree factory, due to language barrier, I called a Nepal security guard to speak to the Indian guy in Hindi. The Nepal guard told me to go to the other Mapletree factory which is on the other side of the highway. Panda lela lah. Today I completed 6 jobs with two 6-seater trips. There's a busy running errands to Sunway Mentari.
A Justgrab story today:
6.28pm, HUY 2 amois wearing black at First Subang Mall going to Stadium Malawati Shah Alam. "We are going to the concert!" said amoino2 happily. I said okay but I dont gave any attention to them. I just driving out of the mall the jam packed road.
There was a bad traffic jam along the road. And one of the Waze users wrote, "due to Guns and Roses concert." Then I thought these amois were going to the legendary metal rock star concert. "No lah uncle, we're going to Charlie Puth concert." In fact, I need to ask them many times on the singer's name. Then I google his name on my phone. The amois also never heard about Guns and Roses band. "That's very old rock band, we're new generation!" said amoino1. Then I played Charlie Puth's songs, ie How Long, The Way I am, We Dont Talk Anymore and Attention. They're enjoying the songs as they sang along with the youtube I played. They truly can sing.
Then later, amoino2 asked me to play Guns and Roses video. Without hesitation, I google and played the band old and evergreen song, "Sweet Child O Mine". I dont know about them but Lentuk beb!
I asked the amois about the ticket price. She said, "only two hundred ringgit." Aiyah, I told them that the Guns and Roses concert ticket were sold at one thousand ringgit as I saw it this morning on facebook fans and they believed it!
When we arrived at the stadium, the traffic not very bad even though the rains just kept pouring. And I couldn't find the main lobby. Instead they rather get out at the nearby stair leading to the stadium.

6-SEATER TO THE AIRPORT

Dear diary, today's story is only on airport waiting areas, ie the infamous Landside and the Charterfield.
10.45am, MUO ping me to send his family and few boxes and baggages to KLIA2. Yay! It’s been a long time since I got a 6-seater trip. He’s driving the other car, while his old man and a sister and a little boy travelling on my cab.
I played alWaqiah mp3 and they didn’t complain. When asked whether they're Bruneian (thanks uncle google), but the old man said they're flying back to Sabah bah.
Unlike yesterday’s ping to KLIA from Kepong for rm65 (83km), this trip is a full fare of rm105 (43km). No toll on this route from Balakong via Silk highway and Putrajaya and Dengkil.
Arriving the Landside one hour later, I sent cik Jnulekasnova for body wash and vacuum. The damage was rm16. While waiting, I took a lunch break at the Cafe Harga Yahudi, ie nasi campor with ice tea.
From queue number 1101-1200 (GC), 3 hours later, it's going down to 181-200 when the first ping hit me.
Other notes. A few days ago when I was membangau for 3 hours at the Charterfield before driving out without a passenger, I reckon that the surau Fatimah was closed and barricaded. The guy who's sitting there told me that they’re going to renovate it. The worst part is that we cannot use the toilet as well as using it for a solat. They cut out the tapping water already. “You can use Ali Maju’s toilet,” he told.

Just one Justgrab story today.
1.10pm, SRA an Arab lady with a baby and her stroller at Regina USJ1 Condom. When I arrived at the lobby, this black man (which I thought at first he was her husband) was helping her lifting the stroller into my cab thru the back door. While driving her to 1 Utama shopping mall (new wing), I kept playing surah alWaqiah slowly. Then suddenly she asked me to turn up the volume, so I did.
Eventhough she looks nice and friendly but I dont have a mood to talk. It’s a very long trip about 27min and the mp3 player managed to play twice of the surah. She didnt complain. Then I turned it off. It’s about 7 more minutes to reach the mall. Then she started to ask me questions, “are you doing this full time or part time?” She’s been here for more than 10 years and can speak little Malay. She’s an English teacher and married to a Yemeni guy. She wanted to teach Arab for free. “Its a language of Jannah,” she informed me. I told her that learning Arabic is harder compare to Malay or English. She agreed by saying, “betol betol.” But dear diary, I regret not asking her phone number. It might be useful.
At the mall lobby, she insisted me NOT to help with her stroller. Aiyah. You see, dear diary, the lady with a baby on her arm and trying to pull out the stroller from the cab?! So seeing she’s having trouble, so I hopped out trying to help her. But she managed to pull it out. So I just closed down the cab back door. I still can remember she said "betol betol" few times.

6.29pm, YAS YAS at Lorong 6 Kampung Pandan booking on JUSTGRAB going to far far away Kampung Sungai Sekamat, Kajang. The fare was quite high (RM48) for a distance of 21km due to heavy rains and traffic jam. Getting to their pickup point also taking so much time.
When I arrived at the narrowly road leading to the house, there were a group of Rohingya people. When I asked, he said in poorly Malay, "only 3 people." Infact, there were 3 adult (one male, 2 ladies, 3 young kids and a baby). Aiyah. But I just let them in as I was pity to this group of people.
Seeing they were crowded on my backseat, I asked 2 of the kids to take off their shoes and hopped in to the last seat which they did happily.
When arrived at the dropoff point at Kampung Sungai Sekamat, he asked me to follow 2 guys riding on the motorbike which was 800m off the dropoff location. Then at the last point, before dropping them off, I told him (YAS YAS) that the fare was RM51 (actually RM51.30 including the toll). But he gave a RM50 note only. I asked an extra rm1 which hard for him to get it and looked pity, so I let him go.
When all of them already alighting the cab, I saw there were many food leftovers on the carpets and some on the seat. Aiyah. I cleaned them all with the wet tissues. Then I reckon that I couldnt find my green wool towel which I just used it to clean the dashboard and interior parts from the wet water. "It must be taken by the Rohingya kids or the poor moms," I said it to myself only.

4.14pm, LCM an Indian lady called me to pickup her beloved husband at nearby NSK Balakong. I saw this uncle already waiting by the supermarket entrance. This uncle likes to talk and talk too. When he was inside the cab and sat next to me, and while I was struggling with my cheapo Samsung smartphone to activate the google maps, he told me just drive straight into the freeway and he'll show the way. Soon, he asked me the cik Jnulekasnova's fuel consumption. He told me that he used to drive Grab too with his relative's Exora. But after a while he quit driving Grab since it's not worth it. NOw, he's driving a lorry with many tires. "I bought a lorry with 12 tyres," he said, "but the lorry is in the workshop being repaired." Then he borrowed his relative's lorry too but the lorry also got problem.
While the google maps showing the farther (21km) but quicker route via Silk hiway to his home at Lestari Putra Permai Serdang near Aeon Taman Equine, he told me to use the Seri Kembangan route via the infamous South City Plaza (9km!) which is normally jampacked.
He told me about his family too. He and his wife got no kids and they lived together in the house only. He said that his wife cannot bear a child since she was getting operated due to cyst on her body.
He said so far he's got no health issue. His daily habit of heavy smoking of 2 packed cigarette is balanced by his heavy mineral water drinks too.
He also told me about his financial burden at his old age since he just bought a second-hand lorry. He story-moried about his previous working experience as a navy and KTM officer which was a shortlived career. He also engaged with many contractor works but most of them not working very well. He told me that he lost a lot of money on the three bungalow projects due to his incompetencies in managing the project.
At the dropoff of his corner lot house, I thanked him for the nice chat.

TEMPORARILY RETIRED FROM DRIVING GRAB
Apparently last Friday was my last day driving Grabcar in KL and other cities.
This time after 3 years of driving Grab (ex-Uber) and little time of MyCar, minus 1 year of deskjob in Pasir Gudang (2017).
I would like to thank my silent readers, especially those friends who always click a like button on my Page "Diary of an ex-Uber & Grabcar driver in KL/JB", ie Mohammad Nur Shafiqe, Abdul Manaf Fahor, Tan Poh Hong, Daniel Wong JF, Kay, etc. You all make my day!

After solat jumat at Masjid Nurul Huda Kampung Kenangan Puchong, I took a shortnap in the mosque to recharge.
2.29pm, ASA ping me to pickup 3 indon ladies at Lorong 3, Kampung Tengah Puchong. I dont expect that I would get any riders from this site of ulu kampung. OTL. I sent the ladies to Pasaraya Hero Batu 14, Puchong. When almost approaching the supermarket, the lady who sat next to me told her friends that she got a toothache. I told her, maybe there would be a new tooth would come out. The lady replied, "how can I can grow more tooth, I am old already."

6.52pm, MEM a Malay chubby girl at main entrance Ampang Point sending to Kem Kementah, Jalan Laksamana, KL. This girl liked to talk and talk. She's a student at Mara college, so as her brother. Normally she'll with his brother on the motorbike. She asked me to go inside the camp as the security not so strict at night. Approaching the entrance post, she told me what to do:
1. switch off the headlamps.
2. just drive forward passing the post.
3. repeat the same rules when driving out.

11.49am, SHA a Bangla guy at Jalan Pemaju U1/15 going to far far away to Restoran Nasi Kandar Subaidah, Klang. Apparently he's sick today and went home. We talked a bit. He asked me whether he can drive Grab as he wanted to buy a secondhand car, which I said cannot because only Malaysian can drive. This is due to the fact that the requirement to drive Uber is to have Malaysia's kad pengenalan (not passport), driving license and car insurance cover note. 7.13am, AIH 6 college girls at Pantai Hillpark Phase 2 sending to Faculty of Arts and Social Science UM. I think this girl gave me a bad rating due to the reason that I didnt go all the way to pick them up at their building. Instead I just waited at the pickup location near the guard house. Bugima la. Surely, my personal rating would drop badly after this trip. Updated: yes indeed and I swear would not take any more UM students. Charcheebye la.

Then he showed me a message on his smartphone. Then I saw it’s written Gleneagles hospital. Aiyah. So from Glenmarie to Gleneagles for rm47 he agreed to pay.

9.46am, SHA ping me to send 4 pax (1 indon man, 3 vietnam) at Jalan PJU 5/20 Kota Damansara. I sent them to Klinik Mediviron Cova Damansara. I should ask them to pay for the parking ticket, but the uncle just let me go this time.
10.18am, AMS an amoi at Jalan PJU 3/20f Tropicana Indah sending to Perdana The Place, Damansara Perdana. She just sat next to me.
Break at The Place. Seeing a car infront of me being towed away by the majlis.
11.33am, QAD a Malay guy at nearby Hotel Premier sending to KLIA. We talked and talked all the way to airport. He’s a runner to renew insurance and roadtac for luxury cars. He’s happy and satisfy of his achievements eventhough he’s only an SPM holder. Sometimes he’s crying for the gratefullness that Allah gave him rejeki. He told his wife if he dies, he doesn’t want her to remarry which I didn’t agree. Later at the departure hall, he’s showing me a bundle rm100 bills inside his backpack and he gave me only one of those. I returned the balance.

About 3.15pm tgis Indian young guy approached me at Landside. He looks friendly and I just replied whatever he’s saying. He’s been working with Tune Insurance for Air Asia and git retrenchment benefits recently. Good la.
At 3.12pm (5 hours membangau), the 6s (181-200); GC+ (11-15). The queue is so slow. ;(
3.29pm, MAT an Australian chinese couple at KLIA2. While on the cab and exiting the arrival hall, he’s very keen to know those “kelapa sawit” oil palm plantations. I sent them to Grand Suites Bukit Bintang which inside the Ramada hotel. Grabcar cheapo Plus.
4.42pm, MUH a Pakistan (maybe?) at Shangri La hotel sending to Bangsar Shopping Center.

When approaching the guardhouse at the condom, I asked him about the block number, but he told me that he rather stop outside to avoid messy security requirements. Then I asked him where he is from, and he said, “Australia.” Then I told him something (censored) stupid. He got furious! He replied, “(censored too) and you mo good in judging people!” Wahlaweh. I kanna hantam meh! Then he got off and I thanked him. Dear diary, I really regret it of what I’d said to the guy. And hopefully he doesn’t complain to CS that might send me to be banned. May Allah forbid.

9.59pm, STR 2 Banglas put a pin at TOILET ESSO Jln Lingkaran Tengah. I just followed the pin which ended on the end road. Then he cancelled. Lajiao lah. But I waited there for 5 minutes and he ping again and I accepted again. After shouting and yelling thru messages, they came to my cab. When asked, they said they wanted to go to Bandar Baru Ampang which furious me as Bandar Baru Ampang is a big town. Then they confirmed going to Hong Leong bank.

2.52pm, I arrived at Simms Grand hotel Jalan TAR (Chow Kit) to pickup kawan ahkak Sabah bah. 4 pax Indon family with many baggages sending to KLIA2. But before that they insisted to find a market that selling flour. When asked why not buying it in Indon, they said that they wanted to find a ready-made “bumbu” recipes which not available in Indon.
Arrived at Landside 4.15pm and try to “pachak” the apps...

Got ping from BIKASH at busstop Geo Hotel wanted to go to US Embassy but after I arrived and waited about 5 minutes he cancelled. Good la.
10.39am, SAR a Rohingya (not Bangla but same) with his newly Kelantan wife at OCBC Bank Lebuh Pasar which confused me because OCBC is on the other side of the Masjid Jamek. But later they hopped in and told me their destination is JAWI next to Masjid Negara because he couldn’t find the JAWI in the apps. Then I asked him the purpose and he told me that they’re just married in Thailand (nikah siam) and wanted to register it. I told him that the process would take at least 6 months. But he said that his agent told him can be settled in 1 month! I don’t believe him and wish them good luck.

11.35am, ROS 2 big Malay ladies (actually ibu dan anak) with 2 little boys at bus stop Masjid Negara sending to the infamous PPR Kerinchi Block A.
11.56am, JOC an amoi at The Horizon Avenue 3 Tower 7. When arrived I saw this Malay lady whic I mistakenly thought was the rider, was waving at me and asking to jump her car. Aiyah. While trying to jump the car but unsuccessful, suddenly the rider, the amoi came in and told me the real Grab rider. I apologized to her and I left that ahkak with the Nepal security guard as she was calling her friend for help. I sent the amoi to Menara Kembar Bank Rakyat, Brickfields.
Got ping from IRENE at Nu sentral but I took a wrong and farther exit. Later I cancelled.
